I used the gorgeous Gold Foiled Flowers Cards & Envelopes, the Lifetime of Love Bundle, Pretty Peacock & Gold Metallic Ribbon, and the Pretty Peacock Foiled Gems to create this special wedding card. These products are all included in the Forever Love Suite.

I wanted to create a fun fold pop up holder for a gift card, cash, or check so I cut the Gold Foiled Flowers Card to use as a layer on the front and on the inside of my card.

This fun fold pop up holder is perfect for a wedding, birthday, graduation, etc.

Measurements:

Card Base (Pretty Peacock) : 5 1/2 x 11 scored at 4 1/4, 5 1/2, and 6 3/4
Gold Foiled Flowers Card: Cut 2 pieces @ 4 x 5 1/4
Vellum: 3 1/4 x 4 1/2
Gold Foil: ~3 1/4 x 4 1/2 cut with Lifetime of Love Die
Very Vanilla: ~3 1/4 x 4 1/2 cut with Lifetime of Love Die, 4 x 5 1/4 (inside)
Pretty Peacock & Gold Ribbon: ~18 in.

Directions:

Fold and burnish card base accordian style and add a strip of Tear & Tape along the score line as shown below.
Fold the card and adhere. Use the Largest Countryside Corners Die to cut an opening in the fold to hold the gift card/cash/check. *See photo above.
Adhere the Very Vanilla and Gold-Foiled Flowers on the inside. Insert cash, check, or gift card in the center slot for a fun pop up when the recipient opens the card.
Adhere the Gold-Foiled Flower layer to the front of the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Wrap the card in ribbon and tie a bow on the side.
Add vellum layer. *Add adhesive just in the middle so it will be hidden behind the sentiment layer.
Adhere Gold Foil Die cut piece to vellum layer.
Die cut same frame with Very Vanilla Cardstock. *You will not use the frame pice. Stamp sentiment on center piece and adhere in frame. Paper-piece the flowers in the frame.
Embellish with Pretty Peacock Foiled Gems.

I made this card for my nephew and his bride. They got married in December and with the busyness of the holidays I never got around to posting it. Here’s a picture of the happy couple on their wedding day.

A Showcase of Valentines

I am often so busy creating that I don’t always get to photograph and blog about each card or gift I make. To me what’s most important is to share that handmade kindness and make someone smile. Today I have three different Valentine’s Day cards I made this year which I did manage to take a photograph or two before sending.

My first card today was for my son. It was made using products from the All My Love Suite.

My son loves to snowboard and he is heading to Colorado at the end of this month for a ski vacation. I know he will appreciate the little gift I tucked inside to enjoy the slopes in Vail! This card is clean & simple and full of love!

Yesterday I shared one of my favorite Sale-A-Bration stamp sets, Part of My Story. I promised to show you another card I made using the same sentiment. (If you missed yesterday’s post, click HERE to view.) I love that this sentiment can be used any time of the year. I enjoyed making these simple Valentine cards for my friends!

I used Stampin’ Up!’s Whisper White note cards & envelopes which made creating quick, easy, and economical! Great for when having to make multiples! I also used the Be Mine Stitched Framelits Dies to cut the hearts (just like I did for all of today’s cards). These dies are gorgeous with stitching and scalloped details and can be used year round for wedding, anniversary, or other lovely occasions!

Check out the long scalloped die at the bottom. You can use this die to add detail and stitching on an envelope flap and much more! How cool is that?! (Special thanks to Mary Fish for sharing that tip!)

Next, here’s a pop up gift card holder I made for my daughter. Her college apartment is across the street from Panera so I know she will enjoy this treat.

I love how the heart gift card coordinates with the colors in the Share What You Love Specialty Designer Series Paper. Check back tomorrow and I will share all the details how to make this pop up gift card holder.

Happy Sunday! I have a showcase of projects for you today! I haven’t posted much lately but, now that the holidays are behind us, I am looking forward to blogging more often! I am super excited about the offerings in the new Occasions catalog and Sale-A-Bration! I just found out that many of you have not received your catalogs yet! Oh my! I called Stampin’ Up! as I had them sent directly to you and it seems there has been a delay in delivery due to the holidays. They ensured me that they were sent out the week of Dec. 10th but bulk mail takes a bit longer to arrive. If you have shopped with me in the last 6 months, I sent you a catalog. The holidays just flew by and amid all the Christmas festivities, celebrations, and annual cookie exchange, I was busy creating! I made table favors, treat holders, cards, tags, gifts, and projects for family and friends. Most went out the door before I even had time to photograph them or blog. Here’s a few I did mange to snap a shot before I gifted.

I love the Copper Tins! I embellished with my favorite DSP and filled 16 of them with my homemade cinnamon candy! If I showed up on Christmas Eve without this candy I do believe my family would send me packing! LOL After 25 years it has become a Christmas tradition! I used the Joyous Noel DSP but you could easily use other patterns. These would be great to fill for Valentine’s Day! I layered 2 7/8 x 2 7/8 pieces of DSP on 3 x 3 Copper Foil. I was inspired by fellow Pal, Brian King Here’s a few more designs.

These tins can also be used to hold 3 x 3 note cards. Check them out in the annual catalog and leave a comment below if you have another idea what you could gift in them.

My sisters are huge Scrabble players so I made each of them family frames with old tiles. I like how it showcases our beautiful DSP. You can easily change out the paper each season. I chose DSP to match their home decor. I bet the new All My Love Designer Series Paper would look great as a background for Valentine’s Day!

I made several gift card holders for my nieces & nephews. This pop up gift card holder is really quick & easy to make. Just change the DSP for different occasions!

Every year I make calendar cards and change them up a little. The daisy punch and leaf punch made these quick & easy this year which was good because I made almost 50!

Every year I make 60-70 Christmas cards to send to family and friends. When we celebrated my daughter’s 21st birthday at Universal Studios this past year, I took the opportunity to snap a family photo. I thought this sentiment from the Snow is Glistening stamp set was perfect to go with our photo!
