I would love to have you join me for this week’s Mystery Monday Stampin’! It’s really fun and easy. I give you step by step clues to create a fun fold card. The best part is you USE WHAT YOU HAVE to create a handmade card! Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned stamper, this is a creative way to kick off your week with stamping fun. You do not need a specific stamp set or paper. You already have what you love, so use it! This week’s card will be different from previous mystery stamping cards. Sound mysterious??? You will find the first clue (the supplies and measurements) for this week’s challenge below.
CLUE #1 -Gather your supplies to be ready to play Mystery Monday Stampin’
Colored Cardstock – 5-1/2” x 8-1/2”
Basic White Cardstock- 2 @ 4 x 5 1/4
Designer Series Paper – 2 @ 2 x 5 1/4 (H) *You will see both sides of this design, 2 1/2 x 5 1/4 (H),extra for envelope (optional)

Stamps
Ink
Adhesive (Including Stampin’ Dimensionals)
Ribbon/Embellishments of choice (optional)
Tools – Trimmer/Score Board, Bone Folder

One of my favorite parts of creating my Birthday Surprise Party Kit last month was coordinating the “party favors”. This kit was all about my favorite things and I had so much fun putting together little surprises that greet you before the crafting even begins.
I tried to keep costs down as the proceeds from these kits went to Pet Connect Rescue (petconnectrescue.org).
I used recycled Paper Pumpkin boxes and tissue paper, some retired DSP, etc.
The kit included 4 cards (3 fun folds and 1 technique card) as well as some fun birthday treats and gifts.
I am so grateful that I was able to donate $250!

I made an adorable scissor charm for everyone as a little reminder of their contribution to help other pets find their forever home.

I used Stampin’ Blends and the Cutest Crew Bundle to stamp, color, and cut the adorable puppies. This bundle is a “must have” for any pet lover!!!

It’s not a party without cake so I included these Cake Bites with a candle and a coordinated birthday card.
Fun fact: This cake reminded me of my favorite homemade four layer cake my mom used to make. It had different fillings between each chocolate layer: pistachio, peppermint, and maple. Then she covered the whole cake with chocolate whip cream. It was a treat for the eyes and taste buds!!!

You can add a gift card, tea bag, etc. in the inside pocket.
I created a simple “party favor” to go with this card.
This simple nail file holder can be made in many different sizes. (I’ve also made them for pens, pencils, etc.) This is a favorite “tool” in my craft room. If your trimmer blade leaves rough edges on your cardstock (a sign you need to replace it), you can use the nail file to “sand” the sides and get rid of the rough edges. 🙂
This last card is probably my favorite one in the kit.
Fun Fact: I LOVE the beach!!!!! It’s my Happy Place! Sunshine, sand between my toes, the sound of the waves crashing, salty air, and a good book! AAHHH!
