I really love the different sentiments and pretty flowers in this set! “Sending Love” which I used on my card is so versatile! I can use this card for any occasion…birthday, sympathy, get well, thinking of you, wedding, etc. I haven’t stamped a sentiment on the inside yet as I’m waiting to see who I will send it to and for which occasion. However, I did stamp (and color) another pretty flower from the stamp set on the inside.

I had to have the whole suite!!! My daughter loves purple and I know I will be making her cards with these products! I used a lot of the different products from the suite on today’s card…the stamp set & dies, DSP, and ribbon. I wanted to use the adhesive-backed blooms but decided to keep my card like the original one which didn’t have any embellishments. The next card I create with this suite will feature them!!! Suite collections make creating so simple…everything works together and coordinates and the result is a beautiful handmade card!

Here’s your question for today…What’s your favorite flower?  If we are talking scent, my answer would be hands down lilac!!! If we are talking bouquet, hydrangeas and daisies would be my top two (though I love many different flowers…especially orchids though I can’t seem to keep them alive). If we are talking stamp set, Hmmmm…that’s a tough one! I will say Cheerful Daises has been well loved! I would love to have you join me for this week’s Mystery Monday Stampin’! It’s really fun and easy. I give you step by step clues to create a fun fold card. The best part is you USE WHAT YOU HAVE to create a handmade card! Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned stamper, this is a creative way to kick off your week with stamping fun. You do not need a specific stamp set or paper. You already have what you love, so use it! You will find the first clue (the supplies and measurements) for this week’s challenge below.

CLUE #1 -Gather your supplies to be ready to play Mystery Monday Stampin’

  • Cardstock – 9 x 4 1/8, 2 x 8 1/2
  • Basic White/Neutral Cardstock- 4 x 5 3/8
  • Designer Series Paper (same or different)- 4 x 3 3/8 (H), 2 @ 2 x 1 7/8 (H)
  • extra cardstock for focal piece/sentiment layer
  • Envelope
  • Stamps
  • Ink
  • Adhesive
  • Ribbon/Embellishments of choice (optional)
  • Tools – Trimmer/Score Board, Bone Folder
  • *Optional – coloring tools, die cut/punch, Cut & Emboss Machine

Embossing with The Eyelet Blooms Die for Tic Tac Toe #292

It’s time for another Tic Tac Toe Challenge!
Here’s this week’s inspiration board.

This week’s Tic Tac Toe Challenge inspired me to try a new technique. I used the Eyelet Blooms Die to emboss my background. Here is the secret to this technique—Stampin’ Up!’s New Impression Plate.

Use the Impressions Plate with Impressions Dies for best cutting and embossing results. Adding this plate to your sandwich results in precise die-cut images and detailed embossing. *Directions for both embossing and die cutting are included with the Impressions Plate.

Adding the Impressions Plate to your “sandwich” before running it through your Die Cutting/Embossing Machine will take it from cutting through your paper to simply embossing it. Super simple, right? Here’s the order you’ll want to make your sandwich:

  • Base Plate #1 on the bottom
  • Clear Plate #2
  • Die  *Tip: Place the die with the cutting edge up
  • Cardstock (on top of die)
  • Impressions Plate
  • Plate #4 (Gray – used for 3D embossing) on top

It is so cool how it looks like it is quilted!

Today’s card is another one of my “go to” designs from my Just Stampin’ Sketchbook. You can create it with any embossing folder, patterned paper, circle punch (or die), stamped sentiment, and ribbon. I used the 2 3/8 Circle Punch with the Bloom Boutique Specialty Designer Series Paper and the Barely Blush cardstock & ribbon (one of the NEW 2026-20228 In Colors).Stampin' Up!
