Welcome to Tic Tac Toe Thursday! I have a fun card for you today using the gorgeous new Flowering Zinnias Designer Series Paper.

I created Tic Tac Toe going down the right side with Free, Flowers, Ribbon.

The Flowering Zinnias Designer Series Paper is one of the many new Stampin’ Up! Online Exclusives released last week. I LOVE these bright colors and beautiful designs!

I used two of the flower patterns on the front of this card. On the back of the card I stamped the flowers from the Simply Zinnia stamp set and colored them with Stampin’ Blends.

I stamped the bird on a piece of the Flight & Airy DSP and added a little color on the belly using Stampin’ Blends. The bird, eggs, and nest were cut out using the Nested Friends Dies.

Welcome to my ABC Color Series! Stampin’ Up! offers so many great color choices! I love to combine different colors and patterns and hope to inspire you with some fun color combinations throughout this series. Today’s project features Tahitian Tide. Tahitian Tide is one of the 2022-2024 In Colors (which will be retiring soon).

I love to create fun fold cards and this one is new to me. This standing gate fold card was inspired by Wendy Lee. I used the Sending Smiles Bundle and Deckled Rectangle Dies to create the focal point on the front of my card. I love that you see the front of the card even when it’s opened.

This card is so cool and it’s really easy to create! Here are the details:

Measurements:

Card base (Tahitian Tide): 8” x 5 1/2″-score each end @ 1 7/8″ and 3 3/4″
DSP (2022-2024 In Colors): cut 4 strips @ 1 5/8″ x 5″, 2 1/4″ x 6″ for envelope flap
Basic White: cut 2 @ 1 5/8″ x 5″, ~ 4″ x 2 1/2″ to die cut 4th smallest Deckled Rectangle Die, scraps to stamp and die cut sentiment and flowers
Parakeet Party: ~3″ x 4 1/4″ to die cut 4th largest Deckled Rectangle Die

Directions:

Fold and burnish card base. Fold the ends forward and the center score lines back.
Adhere DSP strips to panels. *Note- Inside DSP layers are butt against the middle score line (not centered). Outside (front of card) DSP adhered butt against outside edge.
Stamp center panel, sentiment, and inside white panels. Die cut flowers and adhere to stem with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Adhere white floral panel to Parakeet Party with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Adhere bow with Mini Glue Dot. Adhere sentiment with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (on left side only). Embellish with Brushed Brass Butterflies.
Adhere center panel with 2 foam adhesive strips.

*Note- You could use just DSP on the inside panels and add white panels with sentiment/message on the back. Different option.
To open/close this card you fold the front panels back.
