If you ordered my 12 Days of Christmas Kit to Go you received everything you need to craft along with me. Here’s a look at what was included in the kit for today’s project.

To Create this Project

  • Card Base (Misty Moonlight): 11” x 4 1⁄4 ” score at 5 1⁄2 ′′ and Cut at 3”
    (*Use 3” x 4 1⁄4 “ cut piece for front fold)
  • DSP(Winter Meadow): 2 1⁄4 x 4, 4 x 2 3⁄4, 5 1⁄4 x 4 (inside),
    2 1⁄4 x 6 (envelope)
  • Basic White cardstock: 4 x 2 1⁄2 die cut with Iconic Imagery Die,
    4 x 2 3/4  (optional piece for inside sentiment)
  • Silver & White Ribbon
  • Rhinestone Basic Jewels
  • Basic White Medium Envelop
  • Iconic Imagery Bundle

Directions:

  1. Fold and burnish card base.
  2. Adhere DSP layers to cardstock on front, inside, and cut piece.
  3. Stamp sentiment on white die cut piece with Misty Moonlight ink.
  4. Tie a bow with Silver & White Ribbon and adhere to cu tlayer. Use a Mini Glue Dot to hold the ribbon in place at the top. Add Stampin’ Dimensionals to ribbon tails.

  5. Adhere sentiment die cut over ribbon with Stampin ’Dimesnionals. Embellish with Rhinestone Basic Jewels.
  6. Adhere sentiment layer to card front. *Only put adhesive on the left side to allow to card to open.
  7. Stamp sentiment directly on inside DSP layer or add white layer.

  8. Adhere DSP to envelope flap and trim to fit.

This is one of the easiest fun fold cards to make! I hope you will give it a try!

The real highlight of this card is the Winter Meadow Designer Series Paper. This gorgeous paper is hand painted; you can’t find these unique designs anywhere else.

Welcome to my 12 Days of Christmas-Day 4!  I am so excited to bring you 12 days of fun Christmas projects that will hopefully inspire you to create! Today I am sharing a quick & easy gift bag using Hang An Ornament Bundle (on Sale and AWSL) with Take A Bow Designer Series Paper and a Stampin’ Up! Gift Bag (from Gift Bags Combo Pack).

Now this is what I call a quick & easy project! Perfect for those last minute gifts when you’re heading out the door and need to bring a little something. I think everyone needs to have the Gift Bags Combo pack on hand! You get 16 bags (8 each of 2 sizes). These are so easy to decorate. You could stamp directly on them or adhere some DSP to the front and back, add a bow and call it a day! There are endless possibilities!

To Create this Project

You need:

Stampin’ Up! Gift Bag Combo pack-large bag
Hang an Ornament Dies
DSP(Take A Bow): die cut 2 ornaments
Garden Green & Real Red cardstock: die cut decorative strips for ornaments Brushed Gold Foil: die cut ornament tops
Real Red Ribbon and Real Red & White Bakers Twine
*Optional: hole punch

Directions:

  1. Punch two holes at top of gift bag. Tie Bakers’ twine through holes or simply tape ends on the inside of the bag. Trim twine and secure in place with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  2. Stamp to/from sentiments on cardstock strips and adhere to ornaments. *Many stamp sets include a to/from sentiment or just write with a marker. To: /From: sentiments shown are from the Hearts of Elegance Stamp Set (online exclusive).
  3. Adhere gold tops to ornaments and adhere ornaments to bag with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  4. Thread red ribbon through holes at top and tie a bow in front.
    *Punching holes and threading the ribbon through ties the bag closed at top. If you prefer to fill bag with tissue paper and have open at the top simply tie a bow and adhere on front with a Mini Glue Dot.

To Create this Project

  • Card Base (Garden Green): 5 1⁄2” x 8 1⁄2” score at 4 1⁄4′′
  • DSP(Take A Bow): 3 different 6×6 patterns -die cut 3 ornaments and decorative strips, (Hang An Ornament Dies), cut envelope strips @ 1x 6 and 2 @ 1⁄2 x 6
  • Basic White cardstock: 2 @ 4 x 5 1⁄4 die cut with Stitched With Whimsy Dies
  • Brushed Gold & Silver Foil: die cut ornament tops
  • Real Red cardstock: scrap to die cut “merry” from Paper Pumpkin Dies
  • Basic White Medium Envelope

Directions:

  1. Fold and burnish card base.
  2. Stamp sentiment along bottom of white layer in Garden Green ink. Adhere layer to card base.
  3. Adhere merry die along top left.
  4. Place silver hooks on top of ornaments and add a dab of Liquid Glue and put gold foil layer on top.
  5. Adhere strips across center of ornaments and adhere ornaments to card.
  6. Stamp sentiment inside or leave blank to add personal message or photo.
  7. Adhere strips to envelope flap and trim to fit.
