You get 20 tiny, printed boxes and 24 die-cut, heart-shelled snails and sentiment labels. I already used the labels and snails on cards I created. These boxes feature the Flowers of Friendship Bundle. I love punch bundles and this punch has both flowers and leaves!

I stamped and punched the flowers in 3 of the new In Colors (Fresh Freesia, Pale Papaya, Polished Pink) and the leaves in Soft Succulent and Evening Evergreen. I tied our new In Color organza ribbons around the boxes, added the Loose Flower Flourishes with a Mini Glue Dot, and this project was complete in no time!  I love quick & easy and when it looks this pretty that’s a win win!!

Before I assembled and filled the boxes I stamped a sentiment from  Flowers of Friendship on the inside. I love it when the recipient removes the gift or treat and has a little surprise!

Happy Thanksgiving! This Thanksgiving may look different than years past, and this may be a really difficult time for many, but know that you are not alone. You make a big difference to me and I am grateful! And when you share your cards know that you are making a big difference to others too!Thanksgiving 2020
I am thankful my daughter was able to make it home from college for Thanksgiving. We miss having our son home and being together with the rest of our family but there is always something to be thankful for. Even though there was just the three of us this year I still kept with our family traditions and made Thanksgiving favors and had a little dinner game conversation fun! I sent one to my son and we facetimed to include him in our festivities. I used some leftover Paper Pumpkin kits and the Beautiful Autumn stamp set to quickly put these together.

My kids groan when I pull out our conversation starter game but I know they enjoy it and we always learn a little something new each year. I used the Arrange A Wreath stamp set for the sentiment and punched the ends with the Banners Pick A Punch. I used the Sprig Punch with some vellum and the retired leaf punch to add some embellishment.

This couldn’t be any easier to put together. Tie a ribbon around a mason jar, fill with conversation starters and decorate the front (for any occasion).  You could do this for any get together with family or friends.  We sometimes share at Christmas or New Year’s….just whenever we can be together.

FREE Paper Pumpkin Kit In Memory of Sister Corda

Today is Sister Corda’s heavenly birthday. If you’ve been following my blog for awhile you’ve heard about Sister Corda! She was an amazing woman in so many ways! At 90 years old she was my oldest “Paper Pumpkin Player”, still made her delicious homemade candy to give to others, volunteered each week at the homeless shelter, helped out in my Pre-K classroom, walked daily, and was completely devoted to her faith. She taught for many years and made a difference in so many lives! If you couldn’t remember something, you’d ask Sister Corda…she had a mind like a steel trap! She was truly a blessing and had such an impact on me and my family!

I had the pleasure of introducing Sister Corda to card making. I still remember the excitement and joy on her face when she made her first card. She continued to have just as much joy with each and every card she made. She donated many of her cards to the nuns at the convent so they could share them with others. She followed my blog daily (and would have something to say if I missed a day or two).  Often she would be waiting in my classroom in the morning with a list of items she needed or to show me something she created. I keep her photo in my craft room so we can still create together. She continues to influence my life and makes me strive to be the best person I can be.

Sister Corda loved Paper Pumpkin and enjoyed getting together each month to put our kits together. Her great niece, Liz Hott, reached out and wanted to donate a Paper Pumpkin kit in her aunt’s memory.  What a sweet and generous offer to honor Sister Corda and her love of creating and sharing kindness!
