Welcome to my 12 Days of Christmas-Day 7! I am so excited to bring you 12 days of fun Christmas projects that will hopefully inspire you to create! Today I am sharing a quick & easy gift card holder. I love the Scalloped Gift Card Boxes from Stampin’ Up!

Create your own customized packaging using these Scalloped Gift Card Boxes. The white exterior is meant to be stamped, colored, and decked out in any way you want! The scalloped box edge adds a lovely touch, but it can also be tucked in and hidden if needed. The box includes a removeable insert. Use it to hold gift cards, or remove it to make room for treats and small gifts. They are quick and easy to assemble with no adhesives required. I chose to decorate this box with the gorgeous Season of Green & Gold Specialty Designer Series Paper. This could easily be given for birthday, wedding, anniversary, Valentine’s Day or Christmas! If you ordered my 12 Days of Christmas Kit to Go you received everything you need to craft along with me. Here’s a look at what was included in the kit for today’s project.

To Create this Project

Scalloped Gift Card Box
DSP (Season of Green & Gold): 2 @ 4 x 7/8, 2 @ 2 3⁄4 x 7/8, 3⁄4 x 12 (bellyband), 2 3⁄4 x 4 (top), die cut greenery with Golden Greenery Die
Basic White : punch with Modern Oval Punch
Gold Trim (from Combo pack)

Directions:
1. Fold & burnish box along score lines.
2. Fold the 4 tabs in and secure by folding down side flaps. No adhesive necessary. Flaps fit secure in notch on bottom.

Fold over front flap and secure in notch.
Adhere DSP to sides and top of box.
Wrap DSP strip around sides of box and secure on top. *Make sure it can slide on and on easily.
Stamp sentiment on Punched Oval with Mossy Meadow Ink. Adhere to belly band with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Adhere Die Cut greenery to side of sentiment with Mini Glue Dots.
Tie a bow with Gold Trim and adhere with Mini Glue Dot.
Insert gift card in holder and place inside box.

Halloween Spells Pocket Card & Book Treat Box

My daughter is a huge Harry Potter fan! I created this card and book treat box for her.

The Halloween Spells Designer Series Paper is not just for Halloween! Take a look at the different patterns.

This paper crafting staple is great scrapbook paper, card making paper, and more! Use the simple patterns for backgrounds on scrapbook spreads. You can also fussy-cut the stack of books to use as an accent piece or a focal point for a card front! I created a removable book mark…perfect for any Harry Potter fan or book lover!

You can stamp a sentiment on the front for an added surprise when the recipient removes the bookmark.

Any day you can relax with a good book is a “happy day” in my opinion!
The sentiments I used for this card can be used for any occasion, not just Halloween. I chose the Kindest Expressions stamp set for the front of the card and a sentiment from Something Fancy on the inside.

This sentiment is just perfect to go with the potions & spells bookmark!
If you follow my blog you know how I love to coordinate cards with gifts! What could go better with a bookmark than a book of course (or a gift card to a book store)!

I love the new Stampin’ Up! Book Treat Boxes! They are quick & easy to assemble and perfect for birthdays or holidays filled with a gift card and/or treats.

*I had added some candy but that disappeared before I could get a photo. LOL
Needless to say my daughter loved her gift! She has been such a big help after my husband and I had surgery and I wanted to give her a little something to treat herself.

I used the gorgeous Gold Foiled Flowers Cards & Envelopes, the Lifetime of Love Bundle, Pretty Peacock & Gold Metallic Ribbon, and the Pretty Peacock Foiled Gems to create this special wedding card. These products are all included in the Forever Love Suite.

I wanted to create a fun fold pop up holder for a gift card, cash, or check so I cut the Gold Foiled Flowers Card to use as a layer on the front and on the inside of my card.

This fun fold pop up holder is perfect for a wedding, birthday, graduation, etc.

Measurements:

Card Base (Pretty Peacock) : 5 1/2 x 11 scored at 4 1/4, 5 1/2, and 6 3/4
Gold Foiled Flowers Card: Cut 2 pieces @ 4 x 5 1/4
Vellum: 3 1/4 x 4 1/2
Gold Foil: ~3 1/4 x 4 1/2 cut with Lifetime of Love Die
Very Vanilla: ~3 1/4 x 4 1/2 cut with Lifetime of Love Die, 4 x 5 1/4 (inside)
Pretty Peacock & Gold Ribbon: ~18 in.

Directions:

Fold and burnish card base accordian style and add a strip of Tear & Tape along the score line as shown below.
Fold the card and adhere. Use the Largest Countryside Corners Die to cut an opening in the fold to hold the gift card/cash/check. *See photo above.
Adhere the Very Vanilla and Gold-Foiled Flowers on the inside. Insert cash, check, or gift card in the center slot for a fun pop up when the recipient opens the card.
Adhere the Gold-Foiled Flower layer to the front of the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Wrap the card in ribbon and tie a bow on the side.
Add vellum layer. *Add adhesive just in the middle so it will be hidden behind the sentiment layer.
Adhere Gold Foil Die cut piece to vellum layer.
Die cut same frame with Very Vanilla Cardstock. *You will not use the frame pice. Stamp sentiment on center piece and adhere in frame. Paper-piece the flowers in the frame.
Embellish with Pretty Peacock Foiled Gems.

I made this card for my nephew and his bride. They got married in December and with the busyness of the holidays I never got around to posting it. Here’s a picture of the happy couple on their wedding day.
