N is for Night of Navy DSP

Welcome to the ABC’s with DSP! This month I am featuring projects showcasing Stampin’ Up! Designer Series Paper. Today I am using the Floral Boutique Designer Series Paper. This pack has 12 sheets: 2 each of 6 double-sided designs in Night of Navy and Whisper White…so classic!

I like Fun Fold Cards. My card today is a Joy Fold Card. I cut a piece of Night of Navy cardstock at 4 1/4 x 8 1/2. I scored it at 5 1/2. I cut a piece of the Floral Boutique Designer Series Paper 4 x 5 1/4 and adhered it to the inside of the card. I cut another piece of DSP at 2 3/4 x 4 and adhered it to the front flap. I made a second card in Night of Navy to make the joy fold. I cut a piece of Night of Navy cardstock at 3 x 8 and scored it at 4 inches. I attached this piece to the DSP on the inside of the card making sure the folded end was on the right. I stamped my sentiment on a piece of 2 3/4 x 3 3/4 Whisper White and adhered it to the front flap. I tied a piece of organza ribbon around the front flap and tied a bow. This serves to tuck in the folded card on top. I thought it needed a little bling so I added 3 Rhinestone Basic Jewels. Here’s some photos showing how the joy fold opens and the inside of the card. You can see I cut another piece of 2 3/4 x 3 3/4 Whisper White and DSP for the inside of the card. I also used DSP on the envelope to coordinate.

M is for Moroccan DSP

Welcome to the ABC’s with DSP! This month I am featuring projects showcasing Stampin’ Up! Designer Series Paper. Today I am using the Moroccan Designer Series Paper. This paper pack was not on my wish list and I did not even purchase it until the BOGO special this month. Boy was I missing out! This paper has gorgeous designs on both sides and now I can’t wait to create with it! Here’s my first card made with this DSP (look for many more to come).

Stampin’ Up! Moroccan Designer Series Paper and Moroccan Nights Stamp Set

I love Dapper Denim and Emerald Envy together. This card came together quickly with the help of the Layering Circles Framelits and Duet Banner Punch. The sentiment is from the Jar of Love Stamp Set and is perfect with these hanging lanterns from the Moroccan Nights Stamp Set. I cut the DSP at 2″ for both my card and matching envelope.

L is for Lemon DSP

Welcome to the ABC’s with DSP! This month I am featuring projects showcasing Stampin’ Up! Designer Series Paper. Today’s projects are made using the lemon DSP from the Fruit Stand DSP pack.

My daughter loves lemonade so I decorated this jar lid with the lemon DSP and filled it with the “Singles To Go” lemonade for her.

And of course I made her a matching card to go with it.

The base of this card is crumb cake cardstock cut at 4 1/4 x 11 and scored at 5 1/2. The lemon dotted DSP measures 4 x 5 1/4. I cut a strip of the lemon DSP 1 1/2 x 5 1/4 and layered it on a piece of whisper white. I tied a piece of organza ribbon around the layered piece and adhered it on top of the other DSP. I cut the lemon out of the DSP and stamped it before adhering it on top with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I stamped the jar on vellum then sponged it using Daffodil Delight ink on the back of the vellum. I cut it out using the matching framelits. I cut another jar with the lemon DSP and adhered it to the back of the jar using the foam adhesive strips. Then I adhered the jar to the card. I slipped the straw in between the vellum and the DSP. I cut the lemon from a scrap of DSP and adhered it to the jar with a glue dot. I think it makes a cute set together.
