Poppin’ By with Treats & Gifts!

One of the cards I created for Mystery Stampin’ this week featured the Poppin’ By Bundle.

When I saw this bundle I knew immediately it was a “must have”! My friend Paula and I are always on the lookout for anything popcorn in honor of the day we met! Throughout our (almost) 50 year friendship we have sent each other many popcorn cards and surprises. Before I get to today’s fun popcorn gifts, here’s another look at the card I shared earlier this week. (*Click on the image if you want to view the original post.)

I love the sentiments in this set as well as the playful popcorn people. Of course I had to send some popcorn to go with this card. Here’s a fun popcorn wrap I made (thanks to Julie Gilson).

Here are the measurements I got from Julie:

Cardstock (Real Red): 4 1/2 x 9 score @ 2 1/2 and 6 1/2,  Punch 2 3/8 Circle
Designer Series Paper (Mixed Media): 2 x 9
Cardstock (Daffodil Delight): 1/2 x 9, 3×3 cut w/ Spotlight on Nature Die
Cardstock (Basic White): Punch 2 1/4 Circle
Scraps: Basic White, Daffodil Delight, & Basic Black to stamp and cut images & sentiment

The wrapper slides on and off.

Another one of my cool finds was a popcorn scented pen. I was going to make a cute pen holder for it; however, I started thinking… “If you give a friend a pen, she’sLow Pr going to want a pad of paper”. (LOL As a former preschool teacher, Laura Numeroff was one of my favorite authors. If you have young kids/grandkids check out her books…If You Give A Mouse A Cookie, If You Give A Moose A Muffin, If You Give A Dog A Donut… They are addictive! )

I filled a Paper Pumpkin Box with some tissue paper and added my card and gifts to send to my friend! I know she will get a kick out of these!!!
