Welcome back for another Mystery Monday Stampin’! I hope you are ready for a fun creative challenge! This week’s mystery card is “double” the fun! It’s a really cool simple fun fold card (with a twist if you choose)! Let’s get started!
One of the wonderful things I love about mystery stamping is you use what you have! Are you ready to choose your creative adventure and solve this week’s mystery? Grab your supplies, follow the clues, and see what your finished card looks like at the end — it’s always a fun surprise!
Yesterday I shared your first clue. If you missed that post (with the list of supplies), Click HERE for Clue #1
Now that you have your cardstock, designer series paper, and other supplies, it’s time to create! Simply follow the clues step by step to create a beautiful card. Feel free to add your own twist…there is no right or wrong way to do Mystery Monday Stampin’! Here are the rest of the clues:
CLUE #2
Score 5 1/2” x 6 1/4 ” cardstock along the long side @ 1″ and 5 1/4″ to create the base of the card.
CLUE #3
Adhere 4 x 5 1/4″ White (or Very Vanilla) to the inside between the score lines.
CLUE #4
Fold the flaps on the cardbase forward. Adhere the 3 3/4 x 5 1/4 Designer Series papers to each flap…one on the right flap and one on the left flap. *Start with the right flap and adhere it so it covers the inside piece. You will leave about 3/8″ on the right side flap showing so just apply adhesive strip on the edge of your DSP. Repeat with the left side DSP/flap. This piece should cover the DSP on the right side when card is “closed”.
CLUE #5
Emboss both 7/8 x 5 1/4 strips with embossing folder of your choice and adhere these to the card base (on top of each DSP) along the 1″ sections.
CLUE #6
*Optional-Punch/ Die cut circle or other shape from the front panel.
CLUE #7
Stamp/die cut image(s) and/or sentiment(s) and adhere to card layers on front, middle, and inside. Have fun using what you have!!
CLUE #8
Does your card need anything else? Embellishments? Another sentiment? Add that now.
CLUE #9
Decorate your envelope (stamp/emboss/add DSP) to coordinate with your card.
