Crafting With You Loaded Pocket Envelope for Tic Tac Toe Challenge #270

It’s Thursday which means it’s time for another Tic Tac Toe Challenge! This week I am playing along with Team X. Here’s the inspiration board to pick 3 and play along!

I created a Loaded Pocket Envelope using elements going across the middle: Tools, Plaid, Blue.

When I think of tools, I think of crafting tools of course! I may have taken a little creative liberty with this week’s elements but that’s part of the fun with the Tic Tac Toe Challenge!

I love to create gift packaging using my papercrafting supplies. The Loaded Pocket Envelope is made from one piece of 12 x 12 Designer Series Paper and can be filled with all kinds of items for gift-giving. I love to make these themed gifts for hostess gifts, birthdays, get well, etc. It’s a great way to use some of that DSP you are hoarding! LOL

Supplies:
Stamp Set: *Crafting with You
Paper: Wildly Flowering 12 x 12 Designer Series Paper, Timeless Plaid 6 x 6 DSP, Misty Moonlight, Moody Mauve, Basic Black, & Basic White cardstock, Silver Foil
Ink: Stampin’ Up! Misty Moonlight
Tools & Embelishments: *Crafting With You Dies, *Countryside Corners Dies, *Petal Park Builder Punch, Keeping Tabs Punch, *Regal Foiled Adhesive Backed Dots, 1/2″ White Woven Ribbon
*These items are retiring and only AWSL.

Directions:

1. Score the DSP at 3 1/4″ and 8 3/4″. Then rotate the DSP and score 3 3/4″ (up from the bottom side).
   
2. Fold along the score lines so that they are folding towards the pattern that you want to see on the inside of the pocket envelope then open back up.
3. Fold on the two 3 1/4″ score lone to the inside of the pocket. The edges will overlap in the center. Fold back on the top corners diagonally to meet the score lines and create the V shape where the edges overlap. *This creates the pocket opening.
4. Add adhesive (Tear & Tape) on the edge starting at the bottom of the V all the way to the bottom edge of the DSP and attach together.
   
5. Fold on the 3 3/4″ score line up to create another pocket and use adhesive on each of the sides to secure.
6. Decorate and fill with all kinds of stuff to give as a gift!
   

I filled the pockets for this one with some card kits and Stampin’ Up! supplies. I used the Keeping Tabs Punch & Petal Park Builder Punch to embellish the gifts. You can view/shop the list of supplies I used to create this project below.
