I am late posting today because I am just getting back from Atlanta and the most amazing weekend! My mind is on inspiration overload! I wish I could take a week off and just create! My sister asked me what was my favorite thing from the Stampin’ Up! weekend events and I didn’t even have to think about my answer…it was the people! I was surrounded by so many wonderful and talented people and we had a blast! Brian King and Pam Morris hosted World Card Making Day on Friday and I met so many wonderful and creative people and made many new friends! One of the first things we did on Friday was a 3D Swap. Everyone made a little gift and we walked around and mingled until we were told to stop and swap with the person closest to you. Here’s my 3D swap.
I used a 12 x 12 piece of Candy Cane Lane DSP to make this treat holder. You can click HERE to see my previous post with the directions. I figured the recipient could sit this on their table and have something sweet to enjoy all weekend.
I received this cute handmade box filled with chocolates. YUM!
Here’s a few pictures from World Card Making Day and some of the other 3D swaps.

Here are some more great ideas showing how you can frame your creations for Holiday decor and/or gifts.
Now you can see why I am on inspiration overload! And this was just one of the events! Friday night I went to dinner with some of the members of our team. These are “my people”!

I will be sharing more inspiration and photos from all the events later this week so be sure to check back.

Oh my, what a wonderful sharing of your weekend. Everything looks so great. I love the pictures and the smiles on your faces just say it all. Maybe next year I will be able to attend. 🙂
I hope you can come next year. Actually the next one is in April for the annual catalog. 🙂
Jeanie, I have a local demo, but I wanted to say thank you for sharing your creativity and information with everyone. I especially like your “series” and look forward to your daily posts; this is one of my favorites! – Ellie in Illinois.
Thank you Ellie for taking the time to leave a comment. I appreciate your kind words. I will be doing another series after the holidays. There’s so many ideas I want to share! 🙂
It was such a pleasure to meet you at WCMD and at OnStage in Atlanta. I feel honored that you spotlighted my Christmas Countdown clipboard on your blog about the 3D swaps. What a rush! I so appreciate the acknowledgement from someone of your tremendous talent.
