I chose to go across the bottom with Neutral Colors, Interactive Element, and Frame. Here’s my card.

This pop-up slider card has a fun interactive element.
Here’s a closer look at the card.

When the card is closed you can see the “slider” at the bottom. As you hold the slider band on the side you simply pull from the notch and your card pops up and reveals the sentiment on the inside.

I used the Fragrant Layers Dies to create the frame as the focal point of this beautiful sympathy card.

Measurements:
Card base (Crumb Cake): 4 1/4 x 5 1/2
Cardstock (Crumb Cake): 2 3/4 x 1 1/2-score @ 1/2 & 2 1/4 (back pop-up mechanism), 5 1/2 x 1 1/2-score @ 1/2, 1, 1 1/2, & 2(front pop-up mechanism), 2 3/4 x 3 3/4 (pop-up layer), 9 1/2 x 1 1/2 – score @ 2 3/8 & 6 3/4 (slider wrap)
Cardstock (Very Vanilla): 3 2/4 x 3 1/4 (message), 2 1/2 x 3 1/2 (die cut with Fragrant Layers flower die), 3 3/4 x 5 1/4 – with 5 1/4 @ the top, score @ 1 1/2

I was inspired by Connie Stewart and used the directions in her video (below) to assemble my card. *I changed some of the measurements to accommodate my card design (see above).

Welcome to my ABC Card Series! Throughout this series I’ll be sharing a variety of cards for every occasion from A to Z! Today’s card could be for a wedding, birthday, or anniversary. There are so many occasions to wish someone joy.

I used the Woven Heirlooms Stamp Set and See A Silhouette Designer Series Paper. This card is all about the layered background to make the greeting pop. Here’s all the details:

Card Base: 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 scored at 4 1/4 (Night of Navy)
DSP Layer: 4 1/4 x 5
Center Band: 1 x 4 1/4 (Daffodil Delight) Add Stitched Labels Die across top and bottom and wrap Old Olive/Pretty Peacock Reversible Ribbon and bow.
Stamp sentiment in Night of Navy Ink on Whisper White and cut with Layering Ovals Die. Adhere to Night of Navy Scalloped Layering Oval. Pop up with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Add Noble Peacock Rhinestones.
Adhere 2 1/4 x 6 DSP to envelope flap and trim.
