One of the things I love about attending Stampin’ Up!’s OnStage events is getting together with my stamping friends and swapping cards. Here are some of the cards I received. *Each of these cards are made with items that are retiring. If you see something you like, order now before it’s too late!
Card Created by Susan Itell
Susan used the Tutti-frutti Designer Series Paper and Layering Love Stamp set. I love the large sentiments in this stamp set. It will be retiring in May so grab it now while you still can! You can check out the other sentiments in this set in the product list below.
Card Created by Nancy Farell
Nancy used Butterflies Thinlits and Garden in Bloom Stamp Set to create this fun card. The thinlits, stamp set, and Fluttering Embossing Folder used on the envelope are retiring. Get them before they “fly” away! Here’s a peek at the inside of this card.
Card Created by Nancy Farrell
I love the way Nancy cut out the circle on the front of the card and had the butterfly wings peeking through! So creative!
Card Created by Karen Hallam
Karen used the Watercolor Wings Stamp Set and Bold Butterfly Framelits Die to create this beautiful card. This butterfly stamp set and Framelits are also retiring! I love all the layers and texture on this card!
Card Created by Mary Anne Schnettgoecke
This thank you card created by Mary Anne is sure to brighten anyone’s day! I absolutely love the Flower Shop Stamp Set and matching Pansy Punch and I may shed a few tears over these retiring. I have used them for all different occasions! I love the way Mary Anne heated embossed the flowers with white embossing powder then watercolored such bright and cheery colors. She used my favorite paper too, Shimmery White. Thank goodness the paper is sticking around!!!
Card Created by Anne-Marie Schofer
Anne-Marie made matching red tags for all the PALS attending the event. She is just the sweetest and is from my home state of Massachusetts! She used the Country Livin’, Guy Greetings, and Hardwood Stamp sets to create this masculine birthday card using the masking technique. For some reason I want to sing “These boots were made for walking..” The Guy Greetings stamp set used on this card is retiring but Hardwood and Country Livin’ will be in the new annual catalog.
I hope this showcase of cards has inspired you today! Check back tomorrow to see more beautiful cards I received. Be sure to check out the retiring items below so you don’t have any regrets later! Don’t forget, you will receive my swap card (click HERE to view) with your online order in April! Click HERE to shop.

Welcome to my ABC “Sale-A-Bration” Series! This series showcases products from the 2018 Occasions catalog and Sale-A-Bration brochures. Today it is all about family, friends, and fruit with the Tutti -frutti Suite.
Growing up I would go blueberry picking with my dad and 5 siblings. My dad would tie buckets around our waste so both hands were free for faster picking! My mom would bake homemade pie and all kinds of blueberry treats. YUM! I’m not much of a pie baker but I do enjoy making homemade breads and jam. Strawberry season will be here before you know it and I love to make strawberry jam! The Tutti-Frutti suite makes it quick & easy to create tags and gift enclosures to go with homemade goodies (or store bought favorites)!
This little gift card is for Sister Corda’s roommate. After Sister Corda passed away, I have been spending Monday evenings with her roommate. We chat, have dinner together, and watch a few episodes of Longmire on Netflix. Sister Al loves blueberry jam and enjoys some with her bagel every morning. I bought some of my favorite Stonewall Kitchen Wild Maine Blueberry Jam to give to her.
I love to make note cards to go with gifts. To make this simple note card start with a 3 x 6 piece of cardstock and score it at 3″. I added a layer of Night of Navy cardstock that is a 2 3/4″ square. Then I added a piece of 2 x 2 5/8 DSP and some gingham ribbon. The sentiment is from the Fruit Basket Stamp Set, cut out with the new 1 1/8 Scallop Circle Punch, and layered on a 1 1/4 punched Night of Navy circle. I popped the sentiment up with a Stampin’ Dimensional. Quick & easy!
Here’s a quick 1 minute video showing how to make another quick & easy 3 x 3 card using products from the Tutti-frutti Suite!
I will be heading to Hartford, Connecticut in two weeks for Stampin’ Up!’s OnStage convention. I can’t wait to get together with “my people”! Six of us rented a historic home just outside of Hartford so we could be together for a little extended vacation. We are planning to stamp, shop, sightsee, and I’m sure chat until the wee hours of the morning. It is always so much fun when we get together! I made these little gifts using the Tutti-frutti Designer Series Paper for my “Stampin’ Sisters”.
I got this idea from Sam Donald (Pootles.co.uk). I changed mine up a bit and used coordinating DSP rather than washi tape. I bought several different fruit pens and had so much fun making these that I just couldn’t stop! I wanted to try different color combinations and ribbons. I ordered the fruit pens from Amazon. I love the way they coordinate with our DSP! I love the pens with the bauble fruit charms (above) but I also love the way the DSP and ribbon pictured below can serve double duty as a bookmark. Two gifts in one!
I love how they turned out! For the first set of pens (with the charms) I used a smidge smaller than 2 x 8 cardstock, 1 3/4 x 6 DSP in the center, and (2) 1 3/4 x 3/4 strips on the top and bottom. These fit in Stampin’ Up!’s 2 x 8 Cellophane Bags. You get 50 sturdy bags for just $3.00!
I used a sightly smaller piece of cardstock for the other pens (a smidge less than 2 x 7) and cut 3/4″ off the top of the cellophane bags. The DSP measures the same. I used the 1/4″ hole punch to punch an opening for the ribbon. I fussy cut the fruit from the DSP. (You could stamp and punch fruit using the Fruit Basket stamp set and Itty Bitty Punch Pack.) I used glue dots to adhere the fruit pieces to the cellophane bags.
Would you like to receive one of these Tutti-Frutti pens? I am sending one to everyone who places an online order of $50 or more with me in March. It’s my “party favor” and will be included in my birthday party thank you kit for ordering this month! I appreciate each and every order and love sending little thank you gifts and card kits to show my appreciation. I will also be giving one away to a random winner on my blog. Leave a comment sharing something you enjoy doing with friends or family members and you could be the lucky winner.
Yesterday I showcased all 7 suites from the Occasions catalog and asked my readers to share which one was their favorite suite. If you missed that post you can view it HERE. From the comments it looks like Petal Passion is the most popular for it’s versatility and great sentiments! I enjoyed reading all the wonderful comments about the other suites as well. Like me, some of you liked several and have a hard time choosing a favorite!
I have been making so many projects lately using the products in the Tutti-Frutti Suite! You can view previous projects I have shared HERE or HERE.
You can purchase the products used to make today’s projects from my online store. Click HERE to shop or click on the images below.

Stampin’ Up! Statement of the Heart:
“To love what we do and share what we love, as we help others enjoy creativity and worthwhile accomplishments…in this we make a difference.”
Welcome to my ABC “Sale-A-Bration” Series! This series showcases products from the 2018 Occasions catalog and Sale-A-Bration brochures. I love Ribbon and I like to add it to my cards and projects! I love the way Stampin’ Up! color coordinates everything! I’m a “everything has to match” type of person (with clothes as well as cards) and I love the special touch ribbon adds to a project. I shared previously my love for the organza ribbon. You can view that post HERE. Today I am going to share some ribbon projects using the other new ribbons found in the Occasions catalog and share a cool tip for the Shimmer Ribbon found in the Sale-A-Bration catalog.
In addition to the new Whisper White 1/4″ Organza ribbon which I shared previously, there are 3 more new ribbons in the Occasions catalog: Berry Burst 3/8″ Metallic-Edge Ribbon, Lemon Lime Twist 3/8″ Mini Striped Ribbon, and Night of Navy 3/8″ Corduroy Ribbon.
Here are some of the projects I’ve shared using these ribbons. You can click on the image to see the original post.
Here’s a few more ideas to add a touch of ribbon from the Stampin’ Up! Design Team.
In addition to the beautiful new ribbons in the Occasions catalog, you can earn the gorgeous shimmery ribbon from the Shimmer Ribbon Pack in the Sale-A-Bration brochure. It’s FREE with a $50 purchase! The Shimmer Ribbon Pack has 3 different rolls of ribbon: 1/4″ Basic Gray, 1/8″ Bermuda Bay, and 3/8″ Calypso Coral.
Something so cool that you can do with the Shimmer Ribbon is curl it! I found this tip in the Sale-A-Bration brochure on page 9: To curl the shimmer ribbon, wrap it around a wood dowel and wet it; dry it with a Heat Tool, let it cool, and voila – curl!
What’s your favorite ribbon? Leave a comment below.
