Both of today’s cards showcase a new suite, Traditions of Christmas, from the September – December Mini Catalog (available starting tomorrow, September 3rd). This is my favorite new suite! Here’s a peek at the suite collection.

I used most of the products from this suite on today’s cards.
Here’s a closer look at each card.

The floral image is cut from the designer series paper using the dies from the Christmas Greenery Bundle. I added Gold Striped Mesh Ribbon behind the image and adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I used the Traditional Labels Bundle to stamp and die cut my sentiment. I stamped the greeting in VersaMark and heat embossed it with Gold Embossing Powder. I tucked in some more images cut from the DSP and added a couple of sparkling sequins.

I added a sentiment on back from Words For The Season (another new stamp set/bundle available starting Sept. 3rd.)

This card is timeless and the sentiments are perfect for those friends who don’t celebrate Christmas.

My second card today is the same fun fold only horizontal instead of vertical. I created this card for a December birthday (I’m planning ahead!). It could also bean anniversary, get well, or thinking of you card.

The floral image is cut from the designer series paper using the dies from the Christmas Greenery Bundle the same as my first card just a different floral pattern. (*So many of the reverse patterns from this DSP can be used year round!) I die cut some of the flower blooms from the side of the DSP and added them with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I die cut Happy with Gold Foil and stamped “birthday” in red and die cut it with a banner from Stylish Shapes. Are you wondering where I got the “Happy” die? It’s from another new product I am so excited about…Words For The Season Bundle! (*I used a sentiment from that set on my first card.) This bundle includes 9 word dies which I absolutely LOVE!!!

I went a little rogue on this card. (*Remember- there’s no right or wrong way to do mystery stampin’!!!) Instead of adding a sentiment on the back of the card, I created a hidden message on the front. I cut my DSP 3 1/4″ x 8″ and scored it in half at 4″. I cut the white layer to 3 x 3 3/4 to stamp my message.

I added a simple flower from the DSP on my envelope to coordinate.
