I knew once I got back home there would be so much to catch up on. Needless to say I am late posting for this week’s Tic Tac Toe Challenge. Here’s this week’s challenge board.

I decided to go down the far right row: all things round, stacked sentiment, and plants. My card is a simple thank you card but could be used for any occasion. There’s a sneak peek for you too…the new Painted Autumn Designer Series Paper which will be available in the holiday catalog next month!

This simple card is one of those layouts you could use again and again and it would look different each time by just changing the DSP, coordinating colors, and sentiment. I used the Stitched Shapes Framelits and Layering Circles Framelits but you could use squares, ovals, etc. I’m loving the Lemon Lime Twist with Garden Green. I didn’t think I was going to like this color at all and I keep finding color combinations that look great with it! I guess the lesson here is never prejudge! How beautiful is this Painted Autumn DSP?! The other patterns are just as wonderful! My holiday preorder came yesterday and I couldn’t wait to see all the new paper! I love DSP! My ABC Fun Folds from P-T

This past week has been a series of unfortunate events from my computer crashing to a trip to the ER with a head injury. On the upside, I am happy to report my new computer should be up and running later today and I am lucky to have a “thick skull”! I apologize for not posting the last of the fun folds yet; however, I hope to be back later today with a new fun fold card to share. Until then here’s some more of the fun fold designs I did in my ABC series. I have already received some cards in the mail for the fun fold card swap and let me say my first thought has been, “I wish I could keep these!” There is still time to participate so I hope you will create a fun fold card and get it in the mail this week. Today is Thursday which means it’s time to play Tic Tac Toe. Here’s this week’s challenge board.

Here’s a card I altered for this week’s challenge.

I made a T for Tic Tac Toe by using elements across the top row and down the middle: blue, butterfly, bow and butterfly, twine, stitching. It’s easy and so much fun to create using the challenge board. I just realized I also made tic tac toe going down the far right side without even trying: bow, scallop, rectangle.
