If you were lucky enough to grab the Bunny Punch before it went on backorder, I have a fun and simple card and treat box idea for you today. The good news is the Easter Bunny Stamp set is available and will carry over to the 2023 – 2024 Annual Catalog. You could easily stamp and fussy cut the bunny until it is back in stock. I love the adorable bunny for Easter or baby cards!

Stampin’ Up! released the retirement list last week and one of my favorite dies for 3D Projects, the Pretty Pillow Box Dies, is retiring. As you can see from today’s project these dies can make more than just pillow boxes.

This is such a fun project. You can tuck Ghirardelli treats (bunnies or squares), a little cash, gift certificate, or other treat in the pocket. How cool would it be to give the new parents a photo session gift certificate for their newest family member?!

I embossed the front with the Elegant Eucalyptus 3D embossing folder before gluing the sides of the pocket. Just punch and adhere the bunny with some Stampin’ Dimensionals, stamp a sentiment at the top, and you’re done!

I love to give homemade gifts. Creating something special for someone is a gift from the heart! I love the ocean and have always enjoyed combing the beach for sea glass and shells. My sister and I made some gifts from shells we picked along the shore.

Stampin’ Up! offers fun and FUNctional packaging, so you can wrap it up in style! I used a clear acetate card box (#144628) to gift the sailboat shell. I wrapped it in tissue paper and placed the coordinating card in the front of the box for a quick birthday gift. This simple card design can be used with any DSP. I used denim ribbon and the Smooth Sailing Dies to tie it all together.

The Mini Paper Pumpkin Boxes (#153069) are the perfect size for large shells. I decorated the top of the box in matching DSP. I stamped (and punched) the sentiment from Friends Are Like Seashells to put inside the box. It’s the perfect saying to go with these shells when gifting to a friend!

I have several of these shells throughout my home. They have so many uses! You can put them by the sink in the kitchen or bath, or in the bedroom to hold rings/jewelry/trinkets. You can keep one by the stove for a spoon rest and/or teabag holder. They also make a great decor piece on a coffee table, end table, etc.

The best thing about this project is my sister and I enjoyed the oysters, clams, and stuffed quahogs for dinner before using the shells to create gifts for friends & family. How great is that?!!!
