Rewind & Redo with Sunset Coast

I am on my way home after a wonderful family vacation and thought I would share another “rewind & redo” project with you as well as a few photos from our trip. I’ve been looking back at some of the past projects I’ve shared on my blog the last 10 years and redoing them with some of my favorite current products. West Chop Lighthouse is a private residence so we could not tour it! How cool would it be to live in a lighthouse?!!!!! Below is the view of it from the water I took the photo as we were leaving on the ferry.

Welcome to Day 8 of my 12 Days of Christmas! I am so excited to bring you 12 days of fun Christmas projects that will hopefully inspire you! Today I am sharing another fun fold card. Fun fold cards are a lot easier to create than they look. I love the depth with a shadowbox card! The birds are cut from the Nests of Winter DSP. I used the retired dies to cut them but you could fussy cut. The Linen Thread bow adds some natural texture.

I chose a sentiment from Ornamental Christmas for the front. So many sentiments would work with this card! You could easily stamp directly on the front before adhering the card.
(That “may” have been my original intention. Did you know a simple strip hides inky mistakes?! LOL)
