The DSP is absolutely gorgeous!
Add color to your cards with the Scenic Coast 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper. Featuring vivid colors and layered textures, this two-sided paper has coastal sunsets on one side and visually engaging, versatile patterns on the other. Some sheets feature iridescent details that shift color as you move them.

One of the most relaxing and breathtaking things I can think of is sitting by the sea and watching the sunset! This paper captures the look and feeling! Check out a few of my sunset photos.



Let’s take a closer look at each of today’s cards.

I love this card for so many reasons! I especially love how the focal image is cut out so you see it again when you open the card.

I achieved this look by cutting through both layers on the front of my card with the Largest Stylish Shapes Circle. Then I cut out the same circle again from Night of Navy cardstock. I centered the Sunset Coast lighthouse die on top of the Circle Die and ran it through the Cut & Emboss Machine again. This created the layer to glue on top of the DSP Circle. I also cut the seagulls die from a scrap piece for a little extra embellishment.

Lighthouses are a beacon of hope. I love visiting lighthouses everywhere I go! You can view a previous post showing some of these lighthouses and another fun fold card I created HERE.

My second card uses the same Scenic Coast DSP and Sunset Coast Die set.

I could have repeated the process above and created another circle cut out; however this time I wanted to show a different look you can achieve with this fun fold. I used the Everyday Arches Dies to cut out my focal scene. Instead of using DSP on the front of the card I chose to substitute cardstock which I embossed with the Soft Waves Dies to add a little texture. Here’s how it looks when you open the card.

I used the leftover piece of DSP to decorate my envelope.
