I would love to have you join me for this week’s Mystery Monday Stampin’! It’s really fun and easy. I give you step by step clues to create a fun fold card. The best part is you USE WHAT YOU HAVE to create a handmade card! Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned stamper, this is a creative way to kick off your week with stamping fun. You do not need a specific stamp set or paper. You already have what you love, so use it! You will find the first clue (the supplies and measurements) for this week’s challenge below.

CLUE #1 -Gather your supplies to be ready to play Mystery Monday Stampin’

  • Cardstock – 5 1/2 x 8 1/2
  • Cardstock Layer- 2 3/4 x 2 3/4
  • Basic White/Neutral Cardstock- 4 x 5 1/4, 2 1/2 x 2 1/2
  • Designer Series Paper (Optional)
  • Envelope
  • Ink
  • Stamps
  • Adhesive
  • Embellishments- ribbon, adhesive dots or gems/sequins (*optional)
  • Tools – Trimmer/Score Board, Bone Folder
  • *Optional – coloring tools, embossing folder, die cut/punch, Cut & Emboss Machine

Welcome to Day 8 of my 12 Days of Christmas! I am so excited to bring you 12 days of fun Christmas projects that will hopefully inspire you! Today I am sharing another fun fold card. This one is a shadowbox card featuring the Nests of Winter Designer Series Paper.Stampin' Up! Nests of Winter Shadowbox card idea with Ornamental Christmas stamp set-Jeanie Stark StampinUp
Fun fold cards are a lot easier to create than they look. I love the depth with a shadowbox card! The birds are cut from the Nests of Winter DSP. I used the retired dies to cut them but you could fussy cut. The Linen Thread bow adds some natural texture.

I chose a sentiment from Ornamental Christmas for the front. So many sentiments would work with this card! You could easily stamp directly on the front before adhering the card.
(That “may” have been my original intention. Did you know a simple strip hides inky mistakes?! LOL)
