At first this looks like a simple fun fold card; however, when you open it up, there’s another flap tucked inside. I was inspired by Karen Titus to create this new version with Two Fun Folds in One Card.

Welcome to my Mystery Monday Stampin’! I hope you are ready for a fun creative challenge! One of the wonderful things I love about mystery stamping is you use what you have! Are you ready to choose your creative adventure and solve this week’s mystery? Grab your supplies, follow the clues, and see what your finished card looks like at the end — it’s always a fun surprise!

CLUE #1 -Gather your supplies!

Cardstock – 8 1/2 x 5 1/2
Basic White/Neutral Cardstock – 7 x 3 1/2
Designer Series Paper–1 1/4 x 4(H), 3 3/4 x 4(H), 3 1/4 x 3 1/4, extra for envelope (*optional)
Accent/Sentiment piece
Envelope
Stamps
Ink
Adhesive
Ribbon/Embellishments of choice (optional)
Tools – Trimmer/Score Board, Bone Folder
*Optional – coloring tools, die cut/punch, Cut & Emboss Machine

CLUE #2
Score the 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 cardstock @ 4 1/4. Fold & burnish.

CLUE #3
Open up the folded card and position vertically in the trimmer (*The 5 1/2 side is at the top.) then cut at 1 1/2 from the left side down to the score line.

CLUE #4
Adhere down the 1 1/2 flap. Adhere the 1 1/4 x 4 DSP strip on this panel.

CLUE #5
Adhere the 3 3/4 x 4 DSP to the right front flap.

CLUE #6
Create a focal image/sentiment and adhere to the right section.

CLUE #7
Score the 7 x 3 1/2 neutral cardstock @ 3 1/2. Fold and burnish. With the fold line at the bottom, adhere the 3 1/4 x 3 1/4 DSP piece to the front. Then adhere this on the inside of the card base.

CLUE #8
Does your card need anything else? Embellishments, etc.? Add that now.

CLUE #9
Decorate your envelope (stamp/emboss/add DSP) to coordinate with your card.

Lovely Blossoms Cards

Did you play along with my Mystery Monday Stampin’? Yesterday I shared a Multi Panel Accordion Card I created with the Violet Blooms Designer Series Paper. (*Click HERE to view if you missed that post.) Today I am sharing two more versions of this fun fold featuring the Lovely Blossoms Designer Series Paper.

*I altered the dimensions from the original clues for these cards to accommodate the “cut apart” designs from the DSP.

Measurements:
Card Base-5 1/2 x 8 1/2 scored @ 2 1/8, 4 1/4, 6 3/8
Cardstock (for front panels)- *3 3/4 x 5 1/2 scored at 2 3/4
DSP- 4 @ 2 x 5 3/8, *2 1/4 x 3 1/4
Basic White- 2 @ *2 1/2 x 3 1/2, scrap to stamp sentiment

I love making a card I can send for no special reason! Who doesn’t love getting “Happy Mail”?!! The sentiments I used on the front of this card are from one of my favorite stamp sets, Framed All Around. As always, a coordinated envelope is the finishing touch!

My second card features another design from the “cut apart” sheet. I also used another sentiment from Framed All Around. Thinking of you cards can be used for so many different occasions! (birthday, get well, sympathy, friendship). I made this one for a friend who is having a rough time! It’s always nice to let someone know you are thinking of them!
