My Paper Pumpkin box arrived last week and all I can say is WOWZERS! It is a winner! You can use these adorable stockings for so many things…to hold gift cards, decorate packages, as table favors (fill with treats or silverware), ornaments, etc.  Sister Corda would have loved this month’s kit!!! I could just see her tucking some of her homemade candy in these to give to others.

Check out the how-to video to see everything in the kit and how easy it is to put these projects together!

Stampin’ Up! will be sharing project ideas combining elements from the coordinating Season of Style October (Pining for Plaid) and November (Back in Plaid) kits later today, November 21st, in a Facebook Live broadcast at 8 PM ET (7 PM CT, 6 PM MT, 5 PM PT)

Stampin Up Year of Cheer and Merry Little Labels gift box idea - Jeanie Stark StampinUp

‘Tis the season of giving! I love to create my own packaging for gifts and when it comes to giving monetary gifts (which seems to be the preference for teenagers and young adults)  it’s fun to add a little surprise element. Hopefully this little box does just that! This “never ending money box” is fun and easy to make with just a few supplies…Simply Scored Scoring Tool, adhesive, and washi tape (and $ of course).  You can embellish the box as much or as little as you like.  Pretty ribbon and a tag do the trick !

Stampin Up Year of Cheer and Merry Little Labels gift box idea - Jeanie Stark StampinUp

My son and two nephews are going up north skiing and snowboarding after Christmas so I know they can use a little extra cash.  I thought the gorgeous snowflake paper and sentiment from Merry Little Labels would be perfect for their boxes. It certainly doesn’t look like your typical monetary gift. Take a peek inside…

Washi Tape holds the bills together and you just fold in thirds accordion style to make it look like a lot more $.  I heat embossed the label with Silver Embossing Powder and punched another label using the Silver Glimmer Paper. You can use these boxes for more than just money! I used the Large Letters Framelits to monogram my other box. You could fit jewelry, small candles, etc. in the box.

There’s so many possibilities for how you can decorate these boxes. Yesterday I shared a fun set of “dice” boxes I created for my husband’s birthday. They look totally different from today’s boxes yet they were made the same way.

Click HERE for measurements and directions to make the cube box.

Thank you so much for hopping with the Stampin’ Pretty Pals today. Please take a minute to mark your calendar for our next hop on December 13, 2017. Now hop along using the Blog Hop Line-up below. Don’t forget to leave us a comment. We really like that.

Have a wonderful day!

A Gusseted Bag for Tic Tac Toe Challenge #13

Gusseted bag made using the Striped Treat Bags, Merry Little Labels with Everyday Label Punch , and the Holly Embossing Folder by Stampin Up. For tutorials and supplies visit www.juststampin.com

I love the gold and white Striped Treat Bags in the Stampin’ Up! annual catalog. You can use them for food, cards, gifts, or treats. You can stamp them, add texture by embossing, or go to town with all kinds of embellishments.  You can even turn them into a gusseted bag like I did on today’s project!

Here’s this week’s Tic Tac Toe Challenge Board that inspired the elements I used for today’s project.

No automatic alt text available.

It’s easy to pick 3 and create!  I went down the right side: sequin, lace, gold. Check out this video to see how to turn this flat bag in to a freestanding gift.

How cool and easy is that?! Just trim 1/8″ from the bottom then score at 1″ and score each side at 3/4″. Then it’s just a couple of snips up from the bottom to the 1″ score line and you’re ready to fold and adhere.  From flat to gusseted in just a few quick and simple steps! I scored my bag first then ran it through the Big Shot with the Holly Embossing Folder before making the cuts.  I just love how these bags are so versatile!

I used the Merry Little Labels Stamp Set and coordinating Everyday Label Punch to decorate my bag. You will be able to purchase this set as a bundle (and save 10%) starting tomorrow (Sept. 1st) when the Holiday catalog goes live! The Merry Little Christmas (Mega) Suite contains products for all your holiday crafting needs: gift packaging, cardmaking, memory keeping, decor, and more! Stampin’ Up! trainer, Donna, shows you products from the suite, as well as some fun ideas for your Christmas crafting.

I love making my own tags and gift packaging and the products in this suite are perfect for that! I heat embossed the sentiment from Merry Little Labels with Gold embossing powder. I punched Gold Glimmer Paper using the Everyday Label Punch and adhered it behind the embossed label. I used the Gold Mini Sequin Trim with a piece of lace to tie around the ribbon. I attached the label to the bag with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I hope you enjoyed today’s project. Everyone who ordered from me in August will receive one of these bags with their THANK YOU KITS! Emboss it or embellish it…the choice is up to you! I love to spoil my customers and I appreciate each and every order! I send out card kits and more each month to my customers. My card kits make it quick & easy to create using your new stamps! Everything is included to make cards and/or 3D items…you just need to stamp and send!

Be sure to check back tomorrow as the new Holiday Catalog goes live. I will have a cool video for you!
