I am amazed at all the different versions! I love seeing and sharing these cards each week and am having so much fun coming up with new fun fold card designs to challenge you with each week.

I would love to have you join me for this week’s Mystery Monday Stampin’! It’s really fun and easy… just follow the clues to create! You will find the first clue (the supplies and measurements) for this week’s challenge below.

Learn how to create a really cool simple fun fold card (with a twist)! This week’s mystery card is actually two fun folds rolled into one! Sound mysterious??? Get ready to solve the mystery.

CLUE #1 -Gather your supplies to be ready to play Mystery Monday Stampin’

Cardstock– 4 1/4” x 11 ” for card base
Cardstock– 4 x 4
Designer Series Paper- *Cut portrait piece: 1 (wide) x 4 (tall), plus extra for focal piece (if desired) and/or decorating envelope
Basic White or Very Vanilla – 4 x 4, plus extra for stamping
Extra cardstock for layering (if desired) and for creating a focal image
Ink / coloring tools if desired
Stamps
Adhesive (including Stampin’ Dimensionals)
Embellishment- ribbon, adhesive dots or gems/sequins (*optional)
Envelope
Tools – Trimmer/Score Board, Bone Folder, scissors if needed to fussy cut
*Optional – die cut shape/punch for focal image, embossing folder

Cheers & Sips Fun Fold Card for Tic Tac Toe Challenge #271

It’s Thursday which means it’s time for another Tic Tac Toe Challenge! Here’s a look at this week’s board.

When I saw the first box at the top I knew immediately what I wanted to create and what products to grab. Here’s my card. Stampin' Up! Chhers & Sips Fun Fold birthday card idea with Celebratory Sips Designer Series Paper-Jeanie Stark StampinUp
I went straight across the top row for my Tic Tac Toe: Beverage, die cuts, soft colors. This card features one of Stampin’ Up’s newest Online Exclusives, The Celebratory Suites Collection. I used the Cheers & Sips Bundle, Celebratory Sips Designer Series Paper, and the Glass Embossing Folder on today’s card. I love these new products!!!

The Cheers & Sips Bundle is a fun take on congratulations and celebration cards and paper projects. Use the stamps and dies together to create drink glasses in a sophisticated line-art style. Customize your drinks with the variety of garnishes and finish it off with the Cheers sentiment.

The Celebratory Sips 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper features fruit, flowers, and summer-inspired drink designs. Infuse your crafts with whimsical watercolors, fruity florals, and garnishes galore.

I fussy cut the drinks from the DSP and covered the glasses using my fine-tip glue. It gives it a glossy realistic look for some added dimension and fun.

I also added Stampin’ dimensionals down the center of the glasses to give it a curved look.

I love to make fun fold cards and this Front Step Pop Up Card is easy to create.

Here are the details:

Measurements:
Card base (Strawberry Slush): 4 1/4 x 11 score @ 5 1/2
Front Step Section (Basic White): 4 x 9 3/4 score @ 2 1/4 and 4 1/2
Designer Series Paper: 3 7/8 x 5 1/8, 3 7/8 x 2 1/8, 2 1/4 x 6 (envelope), fussy cut drinks
Cardstock Layers: Die Cut Strawberry Slush and Basic White with Everyday Arches Dies
White Cardstock: 4 x 5 1/4 (inside)

Directions:

Fold and burnish card base.
Accordion fold the 4 x 9 3/4 cardstock on the score lines to create the “step”. Adhere to the card front.
Adhere 3 7/8 x 5 1/8 DSP to the top section of the white cardstock.
Adhere 3 7/8 x 2 1/8 DSP to the front step section of the white cardstock.
Die Cut Strawberry Slush and Basic White cardstock with Everyday Arches Dies.
Stamp sentiment on white layer then emboss with Glass Embossing Folder and adhere to the Strawberry Slush layer.
Adhere layered die cut arches to the front “step” of the fun fold. Make sure adhesive is only along the bottom area.
Fussy Cut glasses from DSP, cover with fine-tip glue (optional), and adhere with dimensionals to card front when dry.
Stamp sentiment on the white layer and adhere inside card. Fussy cut end piece of glass from DSP and adhere along the side.
Adhere DSP to envelope flap and trim to fit.

This is a hybrid fun fold as it starts out as a bookbinding style with the added twist of an easel card. I couldn’t decide what to call it and rather liked “pup tent” as that is what it reminds me of from the side view. What do you think?

I wasn’t going to get the Thankful Garden Bundle because I have so many floral stamp sets and I didn’t think I needed another. However, I am so glad I did! This set is so cool!!!

The Thankful Garden Bundle includes the Thankful Garden Stamp Set, Thankful Garden Dies, and Thankful Garden Decorative Masks.

It is so easy to add pretty flowers to your cards and crafts with the Thankful Garden Decorative Masks. These masks are meant to be layered, meaning you can build beautiful bouquets with lots of varying texture and detail. Pair them all together for a floral centerpiece on your cards, or use one or two masks to create subtle floral features on your scrapbook pages. I took a little creative liberty with this card. Full disclosure- I made a couple of errors; however, there are no mistakes in stamping!

First of all, I adhered the top before adding the white piece. Oops! So I decided to add a thin layer of basic black and adhere just below the score line. Then I messed up stamping the sentiment on the bottom so I decided to use the DSP to cover it up. I popped up this piece to hold the easel then added a die cut sentiment on top of that. Both easy fixes and a little different look.
