Happy Super Bowl Sunday! Do you have a favorite football team or do you watch the game for the halftime show and/or the commercials? I know my friend Rosanne is cheering for the Eagles (and I often lose when I bet against her); however, I am hoping for the Chiefs to win 3 in a row! (I like the idea of history being made!) Masculine cards are usually a struggle for me; however, the new Timeless Plaid Designer Series Paper and a simple card sketch made creating these cards quick & easy! I have 3 cards to share with you today (in honor of the Chiefs 3rd Super Bowl WIN in a row! LOL)

Measurements:
Card Base: 5 1⁄2 x 8 1⁄2 score @ 4 1/4
DSP (Timeless Plaid): 3 x 4, 2 3⁄4 x 3, 2 x 6 (envelope)
Basic White: scrap to die cut sentiment with Unbounded Love Die,
5 1⁄4 x 4 (inside layer)
Cardstock: Scraps to punch with Bough Punch, 1⁄4 x 6 (envelope)
Embellishment: 2023-2025 In Color Jute Trim

*Tip for cutting your 6×6 DSP to create this card:

First cut 2 x 6 piece from the top or bottom (for envelope flap)
Then cut 4 x 6 piece in 1/2 to get your 3 x 4 piece (adhere to left side)
Rotate and cut remaining piece at 2 3/4 x 3 (use pattern on opposite side)

Christmas in July with Blended Seasons

I love Christmas! When I saw the new limited-time bundle, Blended Seasons, I couldn’t wait to create my first Christmas cards of the year. I just love the Stitched Seasons Framelits! The Blended Seasons stamp set offers many possibilities for coloring and I love to color! I used my Stampin’ Blends but you could easily use watercolor pencils or Aqua Painter. I even colored my envelope to match! *Make sure you put a piece of scrap paper inside the envelope when coloring with Blends in case it bleeds through.

Here’s the measurements:

Card Base: 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 scored at 4 1/4 (Whisper White)

Layer 1: 5 1/4 x 4

Layer 2: 4 3/4 x 3 1/2

Layer 3 (DSP): 4 1/2 x 3 1/4

I cut out the smallest stitched framelit on whisper white then stamped the sentiment in Real Red and the holly with Memento Black Ink. I used Light Cherry Cobbler for the berries and the Old Olive Combo Blends for the holly. I cut the middle-sized stitched framelit and wrapped 3/8″ Real Red Cotton Ribbon around it before adhering the stamped image. The Stitched Framelit layer is popped up with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Heartfelt Blooms is a beautiful, photographic bouquet in a gorgeous vintage look. A one-step stunner for all your projects! The new Distinktive stamp lays down the ink at different opacities, giving the finished image more depth. I love that there are 3 great sentiments for different occasions. When I make a card I usually stamp more than one. I like to play around with different color combos, sentiments, etc. I chose Night of Navy with Bermuda Bay and Fresh Fig with Blushing Bride. I can’t wait to make more! I also played around with adding pearls or not. I like it both ways so I guess it depends whether or not you want to add the extra postage. This is such a clean & simple card and quick & easy to make! You can use it for many different occasions!

I adhered the layered image to the card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I love to stamp my envelopes to match. It really adds that extra special touch. Get in the habit of stamping your envelope when you stamp your card and it takes no time at all!
