I love this style card! It’s two fun folds in one! It may look complicated but it’s really quite simple to create! You can create a stepped up WOW card to surprise your friends & family with just a couple of score lines! As always, I will include the PDF below for you to follow the “clues” to create this card!

This bundle is full or love, happiness, and florals for stamping and cutting out floral and botanical images in two quick steps! I adhered the washi tape to a piece of 4 x 6 basic white cardstock then cut all the pieces out at once! Easy Peasy! I adhered them to my card using Mini Glue Dots to arrange them how I wanted. I popped up the image on the inside corner with Stampin’ Dimensionals for my twisted easel “stopper”.

Another highlight of this card is the Pressed Flowers Embossing Folder. This natural and organic design captures the delicate essence of pressed flowers, complete with their long, graceful stems. I am a big fan of embossing folders for adding texture and dimension to create a stunning backdrop on cards, invitations, envelopes, and more. I love to emboss my envelopes to coordinate.

I used the Season of Green & Gold Specialty Designer Series Paper for this card. *This DSP is a Last Chance Product (AWSL) and it is on sale for $11.55.
I love the sophisticated style with gorgeous greenery and glistening gold foil patterns.

This paper is perfect for holiday cards and gift tags, but the timeless designs work for year-round projects, too. I showcased both sides of one pattern by creating a folded window frame for my focal piece. I fussy cut the bell in the center from another piece of the DSP.

The mystery with both of these cards is the hidden gate fold surprise inside. Let’s take a look at each of today’s cards.

This card features products from the Floral Impressions Suite Collection.  I used the Pressed Flowers Embossing Folder to emboss the focal piece on the front, the sentiment layer on the inside, and the envelope. I love how embossing adds texture and interest to a card (and envelope)! Look at the surprise when you open this card.

I love this hidden surprise! And it’s so simple to create! The gate fold design on the inside showcases both sides of the designer series paper and adds a burst of color. The only difficulty making this card was deciding which pattern to use!

My second card features a new suite (Peaceful Garden) which will be available in September. Demonstrators attending the Creativity Now event this weekend were able to order it early.  I couldn’t wait to til the weekend to play with  these new items!

I love the new shape die I used for the sentiment layer. There is another die in the bundle that is a bit smaller that you can use for layering. I love the details on the dove and there’s another one I used on the inside.

I love this designer series paper and embossing folder! Once again, I used the embossing folder on the inside as well as the envelope.

I really like this color combination of Secret Sea, Cloud Cover, and Misty Moonlight!!! Here’s a close up of the Misty Moonlight Silver Edged Ribbon. (I’m afraid my photography does not do it justice! It’s really gorgeous!)

If you ordered my 12 Days of Christmas Kit to Go you received everything you need to craft along with me. Here’s a look at what was included in the kit for today’s project.

To Create this Project

  • Card Base (Garden Green): 5 1⁄2” x 8 1⁄2” score at 4 1⁄4′′
  • DSP(Take A Bow): 3 different 6×6 patterns -die cut 3 ornaments and decorative strips, (Hang An Ornament Dies), cut envelope strips @ 1x 6 and 2 @ 1⁄2 x 6
  • Basic White cardstock: 2 @ 4 x 5 1⁄4 die cut with Stitched With Whimsy Dies
  • Brushed Gold & Silver Foil: die cut ornament tops
  • Real Red cardstock: scrap to die cut “merry” from Paper Pumpkin Dies
  • Basic White Medium Envelope

Directions:

  1. Fold and burnish card base.
  2. Stamp sentiment along bottom of white layer in Garden Green ink. Adhere layer to card base.
  3. Adhere merry die along top left.
  4. Place silver hooks on top of ornaments and add a dab of Liquid Glue and put gold foil layer on top.
  5. Adhere strips across center of ornaments and adhere ornaments to card.
  6. Stamp sentiment inside or leave blank to add personal message or photo.
  7. Adhere strips to envelope flap and trim to fit.
