My husband asked me to buy a baby shower gift and make a card for a coworker. Hmmm…shopping and stamping time for me…that’s a Win! Win! The teacher in me likes to give books for baby gifts but when I found an adorable Mother Goose that sings nursery rhymes I bought it. I love to make my gifts and cards coordinate so I pulled out my punches and started playing to make a goose. This is the card I made.

I used the Bird Builder and Fox Builder Punches to make my goose. The bonnet was made with the 1″ circle punch and then I freehand cut the brim. I used Glue Dots to attach the pieces together and then used the Project Life pen to make the eye. I heat embossed the sentiment from B.Y.O.P. with white embossing powder and added some white organza ribbon around the card and tied a bow. Simple and sweet!

Here’s the inspiration for my card.

The mom-to-be knows she’s having a baby girl so I used Pink Pirouette card stock and coordinating Designer Series Paper from the Subtles Paper Stack for the layered panel and matching envelope.
