Welcome back for another Mystery Monday Stampin’! I hope you are ready for a fun creative challenge! One of the wonderful things I love about mystery stamping is you use what you have! Are you ready to choose your creative adventure and solve this week’s mystery? Grab your supplies, follow the clues, and see what your finished card looks like at the end — it’s always a fun surprise!

*You will create a portrait style fun fold card.

CLUE #1 -Gather your supplies!

Cardstock – 5 1/2 x 11
Designer Series Paper – 2 @ 1 x 5 1/4, 2 1/2 x 5 1/4, 4 x 5 1/4, extra for envelope (*optional)
Basic White Cardstock – 2 1/2 x 5 1/4, plus extra to stamp focal image/sentiment layer
Envelope
Stamps
Ink
Adhesive
Ribbon/Embellishments of choice (optional)
Tools – Trimmer/Score Board, Bone Folder
*Optional – coloring tools, die cut/punch, embossing folder, Cut & Emboss Machine

CLUE #2
Score the 5 1/2 x 11 cardstock @ 1 1/4, 4, 6 3/4. Fold & burnish the score lines (valley, mountain, valley fold). *The 1 1/4 section is the front of the card. The back of the card is 4 1/4.

CLUE #3
Add the 1 x 5 1/4 DSP piece to the front of the card. Then open the card and lay flat to adhere the second 1 x 5 1/4 DSP on the left so that it is on the back of that first piece.

CLUE #4
Adhere the 2 1/2 x 5 1/4 DSP to the next section.

CLUE #5
Stamp the 2 1/2 x 5 1/4 white cardstock and adhere next to the DSP on the inside of the card.

CLUE #6
Adhere the 4 x 5 1/4 DSP to the right side of the card.

CLUE #7
Fold the card and create a focal image for the front. Adhere the focal image to the second layer making sure to just add adhesive to that section so the card will open.

CLUE #8
Does your card need anything else? Embellishments, etc.? Add that now.

CLUE #9
Decorate your envelope (stamp/emboss/add DSP) to coordinate with your card.

Have fun creating! I can’t wait to see what you create! Take a photo of your card and send as an attachment to my email (j.stark@goeaston.net). Feel free to reach out if you need help or have questions.

A Festive Fun Fold for Tic Tac Toe Challenge #296

July 2, 2026July 2, 2026 ~ Jeanie Stark ~ 3 Comments

It’s time for a new Tic Tac Toe Challenge. Take a look at the fun challenge board Rosanne created this week.

I chose to go on the diagonal (Summer Colors, Die Cut, Layers) and create a double collar fun fold card.
Stampin' Up! Scalloped Wishes with Festive Birthday Designer series paper fun fold card idea-Jeanie Stark Stampinup
I created this card for my friend, Marisa, who retired from teaching this year.

She had a fun themed retirement party so I wanted to create a card to coordinate. I thought it was appropriate to pull out the “retired” Festive Birthday Designer Series Paper for her card. The sentiment is from the Scalloped Wishes Stamp Set which I cut out with the Stylish Shapes Dies.

I featured this style card for my Mystery Monday Stampin’ Challenge this week. You can click on the link below for the PDF with step-by-step instructions.

Here’s a couple of photos from Marisa’s retirement party.
(She would want me to mention that she took “early retirement”! LOL)

I hope you’ll head over to the Tic Tac Toe Challenge to see the projects the Design Team came up with this week. Then Pick 3 and play along…we’d love to see what you create!

Have a great day! Thanks for stopping by!
