Mystery Solved!

I have been working on my March birthday cards. I have a friend who was born on St. Patrick’s Day so I thought this would be a fun card for her.
This card starts out with a book binding fold; however, the real surprise is when you open it up…

I love the hidden message on the inside that unfolds as you open it.
First, you lift up for the greeting.

Then open to the side.

And finally lift where you sign the card.

This fun fold card was inspired by Connie Stewart.  She called it a Book Bind Explosion Card. I think it is such a fun surprise!!!

I used several stamp sets to create this card. My birthday greeting is from With You In Mind combined with some clovers from a retired stamp set, Lucky Clover. You could easily adapt this for other occasions using leaves or flowers instead of the clovers. I love to go through the stamps I have and combine different ones to create something new. The inside sentiment from (the long retired) “Itty Bitty Greetings” was perfect for this St. Patrick’s Day birthday message!!
