Welcome to my alphabet series showcasing some of the new products in the 2017 Occasions and Sale-A-Bration catalogs. I love the Happy Celebrations Stamp Set and the Celebrations Duo Textured Impressions Embossing Folders. The embossing folders were designed to coordinate with the stamp set. There is so much you can do with these…combine images with 2 step stamping, emboss first and stamp images on top, deboss for a letterpress look, watercolor, etc. Check out this video from Stampin’ Up! to see some of the different ways to combine these stamps to make cards for so many different occasions.

This set is so versatile! It works for masculine cards and kids of all ages! You can add some balloons, flowers, or bling to dress it up or keep it simple. I made 2 different cards using the same stamps with Party Animal Designer Series Paper. Which design do you prefer?

I added some Emerald Envy ribbon and the party hat embellishment from Party Animal on my first card. I stamped the inside sentiment using other stamps from the set.

G is for Glassine Sheets

Welcome to my alphabet series showcasing some of the new products in the 2017 Occasions and Sale-A-Bration catalogs. Today I’m showcasing the Sending Love Glassine Sheets. These glassine sheets are 6 x 12 and printed with delicate white hearts. They are great for bags and envelopes. I made a sweet and simple bag using the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits Die.

Watch this short 3 minute video to see how to put the treat bag together and check out some other project ideas using this die set.

I used Tear & Tape to adhere my bag together. I filled my bag with some Hershey kisses then folded the top over, punched two holes to thread my ribbon, and tied a simple knot. I stamped the sentiment from the Sealed with Love Stamp Set in real red ink on the heart die cut. I attached it to the gorgeous lace doily with a Stampin’ Dimensional and adhered it to the bag.I added a heart enamel shape as a finishing touch. Now that’s what I call simple and quick!

You can easily change the sentiment for whatever occasion. These would make great favors for a wedding or shower. You could fill the bags with confetti, bird seed, etc. They are also food safe so homemade cookies work too! Yum! I’m sending these “kisses” to my daughter who went back to college this week. (I miss her already!)
