Celebrate with Make a Medallion

I can’t believe I waited until the last day of Sale-A-Bration to ink up the Make a Medallion Stamp Set! I had so much fun layering these stamps with different color combinations. Because this is a photopolymer stamp set, it is so easy to get perfect placement with each layer. I used the In Colors cardstock and ribbon with the Celebrations Duo Textured Impressions Embossing Folder… I love the debossed impression you get. This card is really quick and easy to put together. I started with a Whisper White card base 5 1/2 x 8 1/4 scored at 4 1/4. I embossed my In Color layer which measures 4 x 5 1/4 and adhered that to the card base. The stamped layer is a 2 7/8 square which is layered on a 3 x 3 piece of coordinating cardstock and attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Here are my color combinations:

Dapper Denim and Bermuda Bay

Sweet Sugarplum and Rich Razzleberry

Flirty Flamingo and Watermelon Wonder

Peekaboo Peach and Pumpkin Pie

As you can see from the video there are so many different ways to combine the stamps in this set! I didn’t even use the sentiments that fit nicely in the medallion! I like the way this stamp set looks with the Lovely Lace embossing folder which I used to decorate my envelopes.

There is always something to celebrate! I’m sending these cards out to my team members this month. I am looking forward to getting together with “my people” next weekend in Richmond, Virginia at Stampin’ Up!’s OnStage event. We will get to see the new annual catalog, play with some of the new products, swap cards, and have all kinds of fun!
