Thanksgiving is just over a week away. I’ve been busy preparing table favors and filling the pantry with everyone’s holiday favorites. I thought I would share with you some of the “Thankful” cards I received at the World Card Making Day card swap.

Such amazing talent! I don’t usually send many Thanksgiving cards; however, this year I will be sharing some extra handmade kindness throughout the month. Our team is being challenged to participate in Random Acts of Kindness (RAOK) for 20 days. Basically we are asked to send a card with a note to someone each day. It can be for any reason. I love to create and share my cards with others and love the idea that this is not for any occasion other than to brighten someone’s day. My daughter and I would always do RAOK and it was fun to share each day some of the things we did. I am hoping she keeps up the tradition even though she is away at college. Sometimes the smallest gestures make the biggest impact. If you like to do Random Acts of Kindness leave a comment and share something you have done. It may give the rest of us some new ideas!
I hope you have a wonderful day!

I love all these fall cards! I think fall is my favorite time of year. And I love the RAOK idea! Did I miss something? This is the first I have heard of it!
Check out Lisa’s challenge on Ink Big Academy. Starts Nov. 15th.
Beautiful cards. I love to do RAOK. It always makes me feel better and I hope someone does too.
I like to give a little SU gift to store clerks, waitress or even the staff at the Dr.’s office. I like to see their face lit up when someone thinks of them.
I never heard of ROAK as an group effort. I love the idea! During Lent I do a RAOK each day rather than give something up. Heresy? I think not. 🙂
Oh, yes, I am looking forward to this RAOK challenge. These swap cards are so pretty. Lots of good ideas.
