Wood Textures Designer Series Paper Stack

It’s Thursday so that means it’s time for another Tic Tac Toe Challenge! It’s fun and easy to play…just pick 3 and create! Here’s this week’s challenge board.

I chose the row on the far right going down: square, wrap, woodgrain. Here’s my project.

I used the Wood Textures Designer Series Paper Stack to make the crate using the Wood Crate Framelits. The paper stack comes with 48 sheets: 4 each of 12 different 6 x 6 double-sided designs.

I love that the crate framelit cuts and scores so all you have to do is fold and adhere. Quick & easy!

The sentiment is from the Cool Treats stamp set stamped on Whisper White using Old Olive and Real Red ink. I cut it out using the Stitched Shapes Framelits and layered it with an Old Olive scalloped square cut using the Layering Squares Framelits. I cut the strawberry from DSP and attached the square with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I filled the crate with Strawberry Ghirardelli wrapped in a 3 x 6 cellophane bag tied with the new Double-Stitched Ribbon. It makes a “sweet” gift!

We had lots of fun with the chicken stamps from Sale-A-Bration. Well, at the Stampin’ Up! OnStage event last weekend, demonstrators got to see and play with some new products that will be coming out in the annual catalog in June. Today I am going to share a sneak peek at one of those items, Wood Crate Framelits. You can make fun packaging for small treats, gifts, and 3 x 3 cards. I filled my crate with some chocolate chicks. YUM!

I thought this die made a cute chicken coup. It was cut from the new Wood Textures Designer Series Paper Stack (which will also be available in the new annual catalog). I can see using this new die to make lots of fun 3D Projects.

This idea was on one of the display boards at the event. Love it!

This die has what I always look for…versatility! I love to make 3D projects and this one will be great for gift giving! My little “Chicken Coup” is going to my friend who raises chickens. We are getting together next week to go to the beach for a few days. I can’t wait!
