Bring a timeless feel to your Christmas and holiday cards and tags with the Traditions of Christmas 12″ x 12″ Specialty Designer Series Paper. It’s covered with poinsettias and other Christmas flowers in traditional reds and greens, accented with touches of gold foil. This classic option is ideal for capturing the spirit of the season.

Instead of highlighting the red in this card I chose to go a little nontraditional with Secret Sea for my card base and layers. What do you think? Stampin' Up! I used the Heartfelt Hexagon Punch for the sentiment layer. I love that you can turn this horizontal or vertical depending on your sentiment. This card could easily be a December birthday card by simply changing the sentiment.

Welcome to Day 3 of my 12 Days of Christmas! I am so excited to bring you 12 days of fun Christmas projects that will hopefully inspire you! Today I am sharing 2 projects with you- a fun fold card and an ornament.

Both projects start with the gorgeous Traditions of Christmas Specialty Designer Series Paper.

I love the peek through with this fun fold card. The florals on the front of the card is cut from the DSP using the Christmas Greenery Dies and layered on labels cut from the Fright Night Dies.

The inside of the card has an embossed layer and sentiment from Traditional Labels stamp set.

This year I offered an optional 3D add-on to my 12 Days of Christmas Craft Along. I love to make little gifts to coordinate with cards. You could create this ornament for yourself, give it as a gift, or use it as a tag. Traditions of Christmas Banner Shaped Card for Tic Tac Toe Challenge #284

Happy Thursday! This week’s Tic Tac Toe Challenge has tons of inspiration for you! Pick 3 and play along!

I incorporated all 9 elements this week!
Here’s my card.

The gorgeous Traditions of Christmas Specialty Designer Series Paper checked off several of the elements right away: Gold, Navy, Foliage, Flowers, and Matching Envelope. I used the Party Banner Dies from Stampin’ Up! to die cut my Shaped Card. This is really easy to do. I cut my card base at 4 1/4 x 11 and scored at 5 1/2. Then I placed the banner die just over the fold at the top and ran it through my cut & emboss machine.

I used the Traditional Labels Bundle to stamp and die cut my Holiday Sentiment. I fussy cut a flower from the DSP and added a gold Embellishment in the center. The red shiny ribbon completed the card (and this challenge) as my Free element.
