Sunday Showcase…Card Swap Part 1

I promised to share with you the cards I received from the card swap.  I have received about half of them so far and the rest should be arriving this week. This card swap is showcasing new stamp sets from the annual catalog.  Check these out…

Card Created By Denise Weidele

I love the coral, white, and sand color combination Denise used along with a touch of yellow for the flowers.  This card showcases the Swirly Bird stamp set and matching Swirly Scribbles Thinlits. So pretty!!!

Card Created By Susie Guenther

This card is over the top!  Susie used a bunch of different stamp sets to create this card: Gorgeous Grunge, Playful Backgrounds, Time of Year, Garden in Bloom, Stylized Birthday, Birthday Banners, and Balloon Celebration.  I’m afraid the photo does not do it justice as you can’t see the way it sparkles on the front.  Here’s another photo showing the inside…the sentiment appears like magic when you open it!

I need to give this inside fold a try. So cool!

Card Created By Mary Spurrier

Mary used the new exclusive hostess set, Baskets for You, with Stampin’ Up markers, Aqua painter, and colored pencils to color the flowers in the basket. The sentiment is from Best Birds stamp set. I like the way the basket looks like it is just sitting on the mantle.  How clever!

Card Created By Carolyn Whitacre

Carolyn used one of my favorite new stamp sets and matching die cut, Flourishing Phrases.  This would make a beautiful set of notecards to give as a gift someone.

Card Created By Beverly Heclo

The Hardwood stamp set used here is not new but the May Flowers Framelits are.  These framelits are on my wish list. I love the way Beverly layered the flowers to add dimension.

I will be sharing more swap cards when they arrive.  I hope you will check back again. Reminder…today is the last day to enter the Jar of Love contest.  If you missed that post you can click HERE to enter.

You can purchase any of the stamp sets or products shown here in my online store.  Click the SHOP STAMPIN’ UP button at the top and anything you order will be delivered directly to your door!  I appreciate your support. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

Have a wonderful day!

Sunday Showcase

Yesterday I shared with you my swap card for the Shoebox Swap.  Today I am going to show you some of the cards I made at the swap that others brought to share.  I wish I had the names of all these talented people to share with you, but not everyone put their name with their card. (I forgot to do that too so I can’t really fuss at them!)

I love this card designed by Rose Ellen Eastman.  She coordinated the Shoebox Swap.  The stamp set is Seaside Shore.  I love everything beachy so this is a must have stamp set for me!

The gold Swirly Scribbles Thinlits really pop against the white background on this card. However, my favorite thing is the sentiments (and the font).  My daughter and I loved reading Anne of Green Gables together and “kindred spirits” always reminds me of that. The stamp sets used are First Sight and Gorgeous Grunge.

How cute is this easel card!  Michele Suit designed this card using the Jar of Love stamp set and matching Everyday Jars Framelits Dies.  The background is embossed with the Petal Burst embossing folder. This card brings back memories of my son and his cousins running around catching lightening bugs when we went camping.

Here’s a cool fun fold card!  I will be making more cards using this fold for sure! This card uses the same Jar of Love stamp set and matching framelits as above.  I always love to stamp my envelopes to match the card.  It’s kind of like a sneak peek at what’s inside.

Here’s another fun fold card designed by a sweet lady named Ruth.  This card uses the exclusive hostess stamp set, Love You Lots, and Gorgeous Grunge.  In addition to the elephant and cute little mouse, the Love You Lots stamp set has more adorable critters….ladybugs, hedgehogs, and an adorable frog.  You need to check it out in the catalog!!!

Tomorrow I will share with you another card from the swap and a personal story (with photos) guaranteed to make you laugh.  Be sure to check back! Better yet, subscribe to my blog to be notified when I post new projects.

Now is a good time to purchase any of these stamp sets or products you like.  Stampin’ Up is offering BONUS DAYS during July and August. For every $50 you spend in July, you will receive a $5 coupon to use in August.  (If you shop at Kohls you understand how this works.)  I posted all the details yesterday. And anyone who shops with me always gets a special thank you gift.  I appreciate your business! Let me know if you have any questions.
