I was so excited to get Linda’s Double Triangle Fun Fold Card!  I have been wanting to make one of these fun folds and hers is just over the top gorgeous! I love everything about it from the Sweet Soiree Specialty Designer Series Paper to the organza ribbon she dyed to match.  Here’s how it looks opened.

Card Created by Ramsey Alexander

This card is just beautiful in person! Ramsey used the Brusho Crystal Colour ink crystals to watercolor over the heat embossed butterfly from the Beautiful Day stamp set.  I need to pull out my Crystal Colours and play.  Ramsey has done several of these cards and they come out beautiful and different every time.  This is a fun watercolor technique!

I love it when stamp sets have inside sentiments to go together. This card is sure to brighten someone’s day!

Card Created by Deb Echelmeyer

Deb is so creative! I love how she used the flower stems from the Bouquet Bunch Dies to make a lilac bush!  (Which just happen to be my favorite flower scent!)  Deb added texture and layers to this beautiful card using the Brick Wall Embossing Folder and Layering Dies. Such a pretty spring card!

Card Created by Rosanne Mulhern

Rosanne’s card is another example of adding layers to create a beautiful card! Like Deb, she used the Beautiful Bunch Framelits to cut out the flowers and leaves. Even though this card has many flowers and layers, it has a clean & simple feel with the black & white background. I love the sentiment (and font) she used from the Birthday Blooms stamp set. It is retiring in May but it’s definitely one I will keep and continue to use. I love all the sentiments and beautiful flowers in this set.  Check it out below and be sure to get it before it’s gone!

I so appreciate the stamping community and my stamping friends! Everyone so willingly shares their ideas and talent.  Together we really can make a difference as we share our handmade kindness one card at a time! Make someone smile today!!

Thanks for stopping by!  I appreciate you taking the time to comment and I love it when you shop my online store.  Your support helps me to keep doing what I love!!  Everyone who shops with me this month will receive one of my swap cards (you can see it HERE) in addition to my monthly thank you gifts (card kits and more).

Have a wonderful day! It’s a beautiful day here in Hagerstown, Maryland and I’m going to soak up the sunshine on my walk this afternoon!

W is for Wishes for Tic Tac Toe Challenge #40

Stampin Up Birthday Wishes For you card idea using Sweet Soiree Specialty Designer Series Paper - Jeanie Stark StampinUp

Welcome to my ABC “Sale-A-Bration” Series! This series showcases products from the 2018 Occasions catalog and Sale-A-Bration brochures. It’s Thursday so that means it’s time for another Tic Tac Toe Challenge.  I used elements from this week’s Tic Tac Toe Challenge to create my card. I love how fun and easy it is make a card or project when you pick 3 in a row and create!  You should give it a try! It’s such a fun challenge! I made a diagonal this week using twine, metallic, and rhinestones. Here’s this week’s challenge board.

Oh how I love the Birthday Wishes for You Stamp Set! It is featured on page 3 in the Occasions catalog…right as you open up the book.

Stampin Up Birthday Wishes For You Stamp Set - For inspiration and ordering visit www.juststampin.com - Jeanie Stark StampinUp

I knew immediately this would become a well used stamp set in my craft room.  I make a lot of birthday cards and love how this stamp set makes it quick & easy to create.  I also love that I can color it with my Stampin’ Blends and make it color coordinate with whatever Designer Series Paper I use.  This set is priced so reasonable at just $12 (clear mount). I stamped it using my Stamparatus and made multiples ready to color and assemble as needed.

If you didn’t get in on the preorder for the Stamparatus, you will be able to order it in June when the new Annual Catalog debuts.  Trust me, you are going to want this and you’ll thank me that I told you to put it on the top of your wish list!! I love that if you don’t get a perfectly clear image the first time you can just reink and stamp again right on top because it gives perfect alignment each and every time! It is also great for 2, 3, or 4- step stamping and saves time and money with fewer mistakes.

Today is my sister’s birthday! Our birthdays are just 2 days apart and we love to celebrate together when we can.  (Living over 400 miles apart doesn’t make that an easy task!) We talk on the phone every day! She loves the Sweet Soiree Specialty Designer Series Paper so I knew that I wanted to use it for her birthday card. We both love the silver foil and handpainted designs! I cut a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 piece to cover the front of my Whisper White card base.  The sentiment is stamped on a piece of 2 1/2 x  4 1/4 Whisper White and layered on a piece of 2 7/8 x 4 1/4 Old Olive.  I wrapped some Silver Baker’s Twine around the layered piece, tied a bow, and adhered it to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  A few rhinestones added to the center of the flowers and some matching DSP on the envelope and my card was complete.

Stampin Up! announced that due to low inventory Stampin’ Blends will be made unorderable beginning Friday, March 23, noon (MT).  If you started your collection and want to add colors you need to do it today. The Blends will be available again but not until the end of May/beginning of June.  I love coloring with my Blends!  It is so much fun and easy to get the look and feel of an artist!

You can purchase the products I used to make today’s card from my online store. Click HERE to shop or click on the images below. I would love for you to leave a comment and join me in wishing my sister Cindy a Happy Birthday!

O is for Organza Ribbon

Welcome to my ABC “Sale-A-Bration” Series! This series showcases products from the 2018 Occasions catalog and Sale-A-Bration brochures. Today I’m showcasing the Whisper White 1/4″ Organza Ribbon found in the Occasions Catalog on page 23.  Stampin’ Up! used to carry Organza Ribbon and if you follow my blog, you know it was my absolute favorite ribbon. Do you know why? Well,  for starters it is classic; however, what makes it even better is that you can sponge it to be any color you want!!! My very first blog post on July 4, 2016 featured Organza ribbon that I colored to go with my party favors.  My second blog post was a Tuesday Tip on Ribbon Dying. You can Click HERE to view that post and see how easy it is to dye the organza ribbon. (I am happy to see my photography skills have improved since then.) I chose to keep my ribbon white for today’s Clean & Simple card. It is quick & easy to create and uses minimal supplies.

I am thrilled we have Organza ribbon again! Today’s card is a remake of one I shared during my first alphabet series, ABC’s of Stampin’.  *If you are new to stamping, this is a great series which focuses on the basics of stamping. There’s lots of tips and tutorials showcasing our products and tools. Here’s the card that was my inspiration for today. You can click on the image to get the card measurements and details as well as find out all about the different adhesives and what to use for different projects.

Here are some more projects showing ways I’ve used organza ribbon in the past.  *Our new Organza ribbon is 1/4″ but you can still use it in the same ways shown!
