I was inspired by Sue Campfield to create this fun fold card design.
I absolutely love the Birch Wood 3D embossing folder with the Nests of Winter DSP!

If you ordered my 12 Days of Christmas Kit to Go you received everything you need to craft along with me. Here’s a look at what was included in the kit for today’s project.

To Create this Project

Card Base (Thick Basic White): 4 1⁄4 x 11 score @ 5 1/2
Cardstock(Gray Granite): 3 3⁄4 x 5 1⁄4 die cut with Winterly Tree Top Dies, 2@ 2 1⁄2 x 4 (for the end caps inside the card), scrap to punch Double Oval Punch for sentiment layer
DSP(Nests of Winter): 4 x 6 scored @ 1 1⁄2, 3, 4 1⁄2, Die cut birds and branch, 1 1⁄4 x 4 3/8 (strip for front of envelope)
Basic White: 3 3⁄4 x 5 1⁄4 embossed with Birch Wood 3D Embossing Folder, 2 @ 2 1/8 x 3 7/8 -emboss one with Birch Wood EF, scrap to punch Double Oval Punch for sentiment
Gray Granite Baker’s Twine

Directions:

Fold and burnish card base.
Accordion fold DSP on score lines.
Adhere the two 2 1⁄2 x 4 cardstock pieces to each end of the card base on the inside. Make sure there is an even border on the side, top, and bottom.

Place adhesive on the back of the left end of the accordian folded DSP and adhere it next to the left end cap piece leaving an even border on the side top, and bottom. Repeat with the right side, making sure the borders are all even.
Adhere the Gray Granite die cut and white embossed piece together then adhere to the front of the card.
Adhere the birds & branches die cut on the front of the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Tie a bow with Baker’s Twine and adhere to branch with Mini Glue Dot.
Stamp sentiments. Adhere Double Oval pieces together then add adhesive to left side only and adhere to center fold on DSP.
Adhere sentiment layer and embossed layer on insideendcaps.
Adhere DSP strip to front of envelope.

Simple Peekaboo All Occasion Card

Today’s project is a simple fun fold card that works with many different sentiments for any occasion!

Stamp sets shown: Heartfelt Hexagon, Courage & Faith, Layering Leaves

Here are the details to create this card:

Supplies/Measurements:

Card base-5 x 5 1⁄2, score along the 5” side at 4 1⁄4
DSP (Splendid Autumn 6×6): 4 1⁄4 x 5 1⁄2 , 3⁄4 x 5 1⁄4 , 1⁄2 x 4 3/8, 1 x 4 3/8 Basic White: 5 1⁄4 x 4 (inside)
Linen Thread, Hexagon Punch

Directions:

Fold and burnish card base. *There will be a 3⁄4” flap on the side.
Adhere the DSP to the inside of the 3/4” flap on the side of the card. *Tip-Lay the DSP on the inside and add adhesive along the card flap then close the flap.
Adhere the Basic White cardstock to the inside of card
Stamp sentiment inside the punched window.
Adhere DSP strip inside card.
Tie Linen Thread around the 3/4” flap of the card base and tie in a bow. *I add a mini glue dot under the bow to keep the thread in place.
Adhere DSP strips to the front of the envelope.
