My husband is on the road to recovery from his open heart surgery and I’m ready to create a fun new card kit for you! My monthly card kits are intended to make it easy for you to be able to see and try out different products while being able to substitute different stamps you already have. You don’t have to worry about having coordinating designer series paper to go with the cardstock, the right color ribbon to match, or other embellishments…everything is in the kit and shipped to you! You just need to stamp and adhere.

Just Stampin’ Kit TO GO cost: $20 for cards only or $23 with 3D project (includes shipping and handling)

Then send payment through Venmo (@jstark324) or PayPal (j.stark@goeaston.net). *Note-If you use PayPal there is an added processing fee so please add $1.00 to your order. Playing in the Rain

We’ve had some crazy weather on the eastern shore lately. My fur baby, Bo, does not like the rain and he does not do well with thunder storms! After a rough night I am thankful the sun is shining and Bo is happy! Here’s an adorable card I made using the Playing in the Rain Stamp Set and one of the new In Colors, Pretty in Pink.

I love this stamp set! You can create adorable handmade projects all year long with the Playing in the Rain Stamp Set. (*Coordinating Dies available)

This set includes playful animal and nature designs that you can use as a focal point or to embellish your cards. Pair the images with the cute sentiments from this set or with your favorite greeting for more versatility! Perfect for coloring, use the coloring tool and technique of your choice.
I used Stampin’ Blends to color the images. I stamped the flowers across the inside layer as well as the front of the envelope.

Here’s the details to create this card:

Card Measurements:

Card base (Pretty in Pink): 8 1⁄2 x 5 1⁄2 scored at 4 1⁄4
Basic White layer: 2 @ 4 x 5 1⁄4 (1 for inside)
DSP Layers (2024-2026 In Color 6×6 ): 2 @ 1 3⁄4 x 3 1⁄4 , 2 @ 1 3⁄4 x 1 1⁄2
Basic White Cardstock: die cut square from Stylish Shapes Dies, die cut label from Something Fancy Dies
Ribbon: ~ 5 in to tie simple knot

Directions:

Fold & burnish card base.
Layer all 4 pieces of DSP to white cardstock as shown. Adhere to card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Stamp sentiment and adhere to card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Stamp images on die cut square with Memento Ink. Stamp flower image repeatedly across front of envelope and white layer (for inside card). Color images with Stampin’ Blends. Adhere square die cut to card with Stampin’ Dimensionals. *Blends used: Granny Apple Green, Crumb Cake, Balmy Blue, Pretty in Pink
Tie a knot with ribbon and adhere to banner with Mini Glue Dots.

Today’s cards feature Crushed Curry, Calypso Coral, and coordinating colors from the Inked Botanical Designer Series Paper.

This paper was designed by pressing hand-inked flowers onto the paper, giving it a beautiful textured, artistic effect. The spectrum of colors, botanical designs, and patterns featured in this paper are great for any season and ideal for all-occasion projects to create year round! Just pair with the greeting and embellishments of your choice to say hello, wish happy birthday, or send a thank you note in simplicity or finesse—the choice is yours!

I love working with 6×6 paper and trying to use it all without any waste. Today’s cards do just that! I had fun trying different color combinations using the pretty patterns.

MEASUREMENTS:

Card Base: 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″
Front Designer Series Paper: 3 3/4″ x 5″
Coordinating cardstock layer: Cut 2 @ 3 7/8″ x 5 1/8″
Inside Very Vanilla: 3 3/4″ x 5″
DSP inside: 1″ x 3 3/4″
DSP envelope: 2 1/4 x 6

Each card uses 1 sheet of 6×6 DSP. Here’s how to cut the DSP with no waste:
First cut: 3 3/4 x 6 (leaves 2 1/4 x 6 for envelope)
Second cut: Cut 3 3/4 x 6 piece so it measures 3 3/4 x 5 (leaves 1 x 3 3/4 piece for inside card)
*You can also cut the 3 3/4 x 5 piece again and flip one piece over to show both patterns like I did for the last card.

*Note- If your pattern is directional you will need to cut a little different for a horizontal card.

I used the Something Fancy Dies for the sentiment layers on the front of the cards.

You can create beautifully elegant tags and labels for all your projects with the Something Fancy Dies! These dies coordinate with the Something Fancy Stamp set; however, they work well with many different stamp sets. (I used the Biggest Wish stamp set for 3 of today’s cards.)
