Welcome to Tic Tac Toe Thursday! I love the Tic Tac Toe Challenge! I have a fun card for you today using my favorite new In Color, Pretty in Pink.

This week’s challenge board was created by my friend, Rosanne. It has some fun elements to pick from.

I chose to go across the top with Embossing, Slimline, Twine.

This mini slimline card is really quick & easy to create and would be a great way to use your leftover scraps. I used Stampin’ Up!’s  2024-2026 In Color 6×6 Designer Series Paper Pack to cut 1/2 inch strips. I also cut some Basic White strips and embossed them with the Basics Crosshatch Embossing Folder to add some texture.

Here are the details:

Card Supplies/Measurements:

Stamp Set/Bundle: Unbounded Love
Card base (Basic Beige): 6 x 7 scored at 3 1/2 (for 3 1/2 x 6 card)
Cardstock Layer (Pretty in Pink): 2 @ 5 3/4 x 3 1/4 (1 for inside card)
Basic White Layer: 2 @ 5 5/8 x 3 1/8 (to adhere strips)
DSP Strips (2024-2026 In Color 6×6 ): ~16 @ 1/2 x 6
Basic White: scraps to die cut label for sentiment from Unbounded Love Dies, Cut 1/2 in. strips and emboss with Basics Crosshatch Embossing Folder
Basic Beige: 2 x 2 1/2 to die cut label from Unbounded Love Dies
Pretty in Pink: scraps to die cut flowers from Country Birdhouse Dies
Ribbon: ~ 8 in
Embellishments: Linen Thread, 2024-2026 In Color Glimmer Gems

Directions:

1. Fold & burnish card base.
2. Arrange various DSP and embossed white strips to determine pattern and placement on the Basic White layer. (*To be honest I just chose as I glued.)
   Adhere in place. Trim excess. *You can use the scraps after trimming to fill the smaller areas.
   
   
3. Adhere the strip layer to the Pretty in Pink layer. Adhere to card base.
4. Cut white and beige labels from Unbounded Love Dies.
5. Wrap Ribbon around beige label and tie with Linen Thread. Trim ends of ribbon. Adhere to card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
   
6. Stamp sentiment on white die and adhere to beige & ribbon layer.
7. Embellish with flower dies and Shimmer Gems.
8. For inside of card repeat adding strips, trimming ends, and adhering to cardstock layer. Stamp Sentiment and add flower and gem embellishment.
   
9. This card will fit in a standard white business envelope (3 5/8 x 6 1/2). Use any leftover strips to decorate the envelope to coordinate.
