Happy Spring! When I saw the Hey Birthday Chick stamp set I knew I had to have it! A friend of mine not only raises chickens, her birthday is the first day of spring! The “spring chicken” sentiment was perfect for her birthday!

This card is a CASE (Copy And Share Everything) from Lee Ann Greff.  I love the fun fold, color combination, and how it showcases the different chickens! Another chicken is on the inside of this fun fold.

Here’s a look at the Hey Birthday Chick Bundle used to create this card.

The Hey Birthday Chick Bundle includes the Hey Birthday Chick Stamp Set and the Birthday Chick Dies. The Hey Birthday Chick Stamp Set is “chick” full of celebratory images and phrases you can use to make any birthday delightful. These quirky line-art chicks are ready to be stamped and colored using your favorite coloring technique. Use this set to celebrate birthdays, friendship, and more. Break out the Birthday Chick Dies for a birthday bash! In addition to chicken and fence images, you’ll also get a celebratory bow, garland, and more. Use them together to create an amazing birthday scene. The chicken on the inside is stamped directly on the white cardstock. The fence and two chickens on the front of the card are cut out using the dies and popped up with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Here’s the “chicken recipe”:

• Bermuda Bay: 4 1/4 x 5 1/2, 1 3/4 x 5 scored at 3/4
• Real Red: 3 3/4 x 5, scrap to die cut bow
• Basic White: 3 x 4, scraps to die cut fence & stamp and cut chickens
• Black: 3 1/4 x 4 1/4
• DSP (Oh So Ombre): 3 x 4, 2 1/4 x 6 (for envelope flap), scrap to punch balloon
