Welcome to the end of my ABC Color Series! Stampin’ Up! offers so many great color choices! I love to combine different colors and patterns and hope this series has inspired you with some fun color combinations. Today’s projects feature color combinations from the Zoo Crew Designer Series Paper.
How cute is this paper?!
The Zoo Crew Designer Series Paper is packed full of different animals showcasing unique talents from singing to dancing, juggling to knitting, baking to skating, and every fun hobby in between. Cut out the characters to create cute designs, or use the reverse side’s basic black and white patterns for accent pieces and backdrops. There’s so much you can do with this zany zoo crew! I punched the DSP and cardstock using an assortment of circle punches. It was so quick & easy I couldn’t stop creating! Here’s a look at some of the different cards you can make for a variety of occasions.
These fun “note” cards can be sent to anyone at anytime. They’re sure to bring a smile and brighten someone’s day. Create a set to give as a gift…Perfect for a music teacher or musical student! I embossed the background using the Merry Melody 3D embossing folder (retiring soon)…perfect for these “note-worthy” animals.
The sentiment is from a new stamp set, Simply Said, which will be available starting May 1st with the launch of the new annual catalog. This ten sentiment stamp set is a versatile set you are going to want!!!
The talented zoo crew can not only sing, they can dance too! The fun dancing animals make great cards for a ballet teacher or student. You can also use them to send an inspirational message to friends or family.
I love both sides of this Designer Series Paper pack! You can choose to color the background or leave it black & white. I love it both ways!
I used Stampin’ Blends to color the flowers and leaves Lemon Lolly and Lemon Lime Twist.
The card above is one of my favorites! The sentiment is from the Wonderful Thoughts Stamp Set…perfect inspiration for a graduate, friend, coworker, or someone starting a new adventure!
I love the zoo crew animals showcasing different hobbies. I can’t wait to make them all! I created these two first as I know who I want to send them to!
I have a friend who loves to cook and she is always dropping by with one of her delicious recipes. This aproned goat makes the perfect thank you card for her! The artist makes a great card to send to your creative friends. I stamped the sentiment from Crafting With You before embossing with the Painted Texture 3D embossing folder.

Here’s a closer look at each.
I only used the Zoo Crew DSP on today’s cards; however, there is a coordinating bundle. The Zany Zoo Dies can cut out some of the different animals from the DSP. Both the stamp set and dies (as well as the DSP) are retiring soon (in 3 days!!!). The dies are on sale and it is cheaper to buy them separately than with the bundle savings!

Here are the measurements for the cards:
- Card base: 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 scored at 4 1/4
- Cardstock Layer (Basic Black): 3 7/8 x 5 1/8
- DSP or Basic White (Embossed Layer): 3 3/4 x 5
