Welcome to my 12 Days of Christmas-Day 1! I am so excited to bring you 12 days of fun Christmas projects that will hopefully inspire you to create! Today I am sharing a simple fun fold card using the Artful Amaryllis Bundle.

I wanted to start by sharing one of my favorite Christmas traditions. I love to gift (and receive) amaryllis! These bulbs are so much fun to watch grow and bloom throughout the holiday season. I buy them at Trader Joe’s (under $10) and gift them to friends and family. (I love the wax bulbs as they require no maintenance…perfect for those who lack a green thumb like me!) These make a great hostess gift, teacher gift, secret Santa gift, and/or a little something for coworkers, etc. I was so excited when Stampin’ Up! released the Artful Amaryllis Bundle! This bundle makes it easy to create the perfect card to coordinate with these plants.

I needed a sympathy card for a friend last week and delivered this card and potted bulbs. You can stamp and die cut amaryllis flowers to use on Christmas cards, thank you cards, thinking of you cards, and more! Here’s a look at the bundle.

To Create this Project

Card Base (CherryCobbler): 5 1⁄2”x 8 1⁄2” score at 3”and 4 1⁄4′′
Basic White: 2 @ 2 3⁄4 x 5 1⁄4 *Emboss front panel w/ Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder
DSP(Regal Distressed Patterns): 1 x 5 1/8
Brushed Gold Foil 1 1/8 x 5 1/4
Old Olive: scraps to die cut stem and leaves
Cherry Cobbler: scraps to die cut flowers
Crushed Curry: scraps to die cut flower centers
Gold Textured Adhesive Backed Dots

Directions:

Fold & burnish score lines.
Add adhesive between inside score lines. Close card to adhere to create book binding fun fold.
Adhere basic white layer inside. Stamp sentiment of choice and add handwritten message.
Adhere DSP to Gold Foil and then to card base.
Adhere embossed layer to front of card.
Adhere leaf and stem die cuts to embossed layer.
Use Mini Glue Dots to adhere flower pieces together then adhere to stem.
Add 3 Gold Textured Adhesive-Backed Dots to card along right side.
Adhere DSP and gold foil to front of envelope.
