I used the Toile Tidings Designer Series Paper and Celebration Tidings Bundle to pile on the layers for this simple Christmas card. I love the basic patterns and classic Christmas colors in the Toile Tidings Designer Series Paper. *One side is red and the other side is green. This paper is not just for Christmas!Stampin' Up! Celebration Labels Tags for the Pals Blog Hop

Hello, welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop! This month our Design Team’s theme is “Tag, You’re It” – tags or 3D projects to get you inspired for the upcoming gift season. We hope you enjoy and will be inspired by them! Don’t forget to leave comments! We love hearing from you. At the end of my post, you will find the full line-up to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.

I am loving the versatility with the Celebration Labels Dies! I paired the dies with the Harvest Hellos stamp set and Apple Builder Punch to make these tags for some homemade applesauce and apple bread.

Stampin' Up! Harvest Hellos and Celebration Labels tag ideas - Jeanie Stark StampinUp
One of my favorite fall traditions is to pick my own apples from the orchard then come home and make all kinds of apple recipes! My family loves my apple bread. I decided to take a little (6 1/2 hour) drive to personally deliver some to my adult children last weekend. (*The fall foliage made for a beautiful trip north!)

I also made some bread for my sister and coordinated her tag to match the bread plate.

These tags are all about layering! The Celebration Labels Dies have 5 different sizes. They’re perfect to create handmade projects for any occasion. You can click HERE to see some cards I shared previously using these dies.

Here’s a tip to extend your dies for even more layering possibilities! Cut out one of the dies then line up the notches in your paper trimmer and cut in half. Adhere to the top and bottom of the layering die and add a strip across the middle.

Here’s the details if you’d like to make these tags. (FYI…I’m planning to use the pumpkin from Harvest Hellos to make tags for Pumpkin Bread for Thanksgiving!)

Celebrate Sunflowers for the Pals Blog Hop

Blog Hop July 2020

Hello, welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop! This month our Design Team is showcasing “Gifts From the Garden.” We hope you enjoy and will be inspired by them! Don’t forget to leave comments! We love hearing from you. At the end of my post, you will find the full line-up to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.

Stampin' Up! Celebrate Sunflowers fun fold all occasion card idea - Jeanie Stark StampinUp

The inspiration for my card today came from this garden photo I took many years ago.

img_6359

When my son was little we planted sunflowers.  All summer long he watched them grow and got so excited the taller they grew.  He couldn’t wait to get dressed, run outside, and stand beside the sunflowers to see how tall they were in comparison to himself. He would report daily and tell me it was as tall as his “boo boo”, up to his knees… on up until they were over his head. He is all grown up now and started a new job this week.

I chose Celebrate Sunflowers to make a card to congratulate my son. This bundle is one of My Favorite Things from the 2020-2021 Annual Catalog!  You can see all of My Favorite Things HERE.

Stampin' Up! Celebrate Sunflowers Bundle - for inspiration and ordering information visit juststampin.com - Jeanie Stark StampinUp

My card features four of the new In Colors (Misty Moonlight, Cinnamon Cider, Bumblebee, and Just Jade). The double Z fun fold design was perfect to showcase this “growing” sunflower. If you look at the side view you can see how it got it’s name.Stampin' Up! Celebrate Sunflowers fun fold all occasion card idea - Jeanie Stark StampinUp

I love the different sentiments and fonts in this stamp set! They are versatile and work for thank you cards and many different celebrations…birthday, graduation, job promotion, etc. The sentiment I used inside was perfect for my growing sunflower!

Check back tomorrow to see another version of this card as well as all the details to make this fun fold! *See below for a complete list of the products I used.

Here’s a fun fact about sunflowers.
