Mystery Solved!

This is another simple fun fold to create. I’d like to give a shout out to Heidi Collins who inspired me to create this fun fold for Mystery Stampin’. You’ll find the PDF at the end of this post but first I thought I’d share the basic measurements I got from Heidi.

Measurements:

• Card base: 10 3/4″ x 5 1/2″, scored at 1 5/8″, 3 1/4″, 7 1/2″, and 9 1/8″
• Cardstock – Left Panel: 3″ x 5″
• Cardstock – Right Panel: 3″ x 4 1/4″
• Cardstock – Inside Panel: 3″ x 4 1/4″
• Patterned Paper – Left Panel: 2 3/4″ x 4 3/4″
• Patterned Paper – Right Panel: 2 3/4″ x 4″
• White – Inside Panel: 2 3/4″ x 4″

Once you have your pieces cut, scored, and layered, you just need to create your focal point.There are endless creative possibilities! I’d love to see what you create this week! Here’s a closer look at each of my cards.

The Everyday Happiness Designer Series Paper in an online exclusive so you won’t find it in the catalog. This is one of my favorite DSP packs! I love the color combinations and all the different patterns. (Usually I’m excited if I like the front OR the back but this pack makes it hard to decide which side to use!) I used 4 (of the 6) designs on the front of this card. How simple is this? I let the patterned paper and the large font sentiment be the focal point.  I stamped the sentiment from Hugs For Love on one of the patterned paper designs and punched it out with the 1 3/4″ Circle Punch and adhered it on a die cut circle from the Spotlight on Nature Dies. I layered another strip of the DSP across the front to ground the sentiment. I popped the sentiment with Stampin’ Dimensionals and added some gold ribbon with a Mini Glue Dot. I love how this card opens by pulling from both ends. “TA DA!”

I adhered DSP on the inside to stamp/write my message. If you don’t check out the online exclusives you are missing out on some of the best products! Which brings me to my second card…

I used the dies in the suite/bundle to cut the pears on the front of my card. Talk about hitting the easy button! They look so realistic!

I left the inside blank for now.

This style fun fold card stand nicely for display.
