Let’s Celebrate… Treats, Perks, Blog Candy, A Card Swap, & More!!!!!

July 4, 2026July 4, 2026 ~ Jeanie Stark ~ 23 Comments

Happy Fourth of July! There is much to celebrate! Today the United States celebrates the 250th Anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence and the birth of our country. In honor of this special occasion I made these little treats for the patients at our local Hospice House.
Stampin' Up! Banner Sayings and Stylish Shapes Hershey Nugget firecracker treat-Jeanie Stark StampinUp

These are really quick & easy to create! It’s just 2 Hershey nuggets, each wrapped with an Avery Address Label (*or use a 1 x 3 piece of DSP). I stamped the sentiment from Banner Sayings and die cut it with the smallest banner from the Stylish Shapes Dies. (*I could have punched it out with the coordinating 3 Banner Punch but I liked the stitching on the die.) I placed the sparkly pick in between the nuggets and held it in place with a Stampin’ Dimensional on each side.

Today is also a special day for me…It’s the 10 year anniversary of my blog! My very first blog post was the treat holder pictured below that I posted on July 4, 2016. (You can click on the image to see the original post.)

I didn’t know back then that I was about to embark on such a rewarding and fulfilling experience! Who knew that creating and sharing cards could bring so much joy?! You have supported and inspired me with your comments, emails, cards, orders, and more! I am excited to share this amazing milestone with you! To celebrate and thank my loyal followers and customers there will be some prizes, perks, & more!

I’m Celebrating the 10 Year Anniversary of my Blog with…

Extra Perks! Get 10% off your purchase for 10 days (July 4-14th)! I will send you a thank you card along with a check for 10% of your purchase (before shipping & tax). *Be sure to check out the NEW July Online Exclusives!!! There are 3 amazing suite collections along with products for summer, Halloween, fall and Christmas.
Blog Candy! Leave a comment below for a chance to win. I want to know your favorite project, series, or tip from my blog. If you can, post the date of the project so others can check it out in case they are new to my blog and may have missed it. You can always refer to past posts by clicking on Archives (to check by month) or search by Categories. Just click on the drop down menu on the right. (You may need to click on the blog title first to go directly to my blog if you are reading this in your email.) I will pick a random winner at the end of the week to receive 10 of my handmade cards.
Rewind & Redo. In honor of my anniversary I’ll be featuring a “rewind & redo” project each day this week. I will revisit some of my projects from the past and recreate with a new look using current products.
A Card Swap! I would love to showcase your cards. Redo a favorite card you created or one I created that inspired you. I prefer you use current products but it is not mandatory. I want you to have fun creating and participate in the swap! Mail your card to me along with a self-addressed stamped envelope by July 31st. (Don’t wait to create!!!) I will swap out the cards and send you a card someone else has shared. I will showcase all the cards on my blog. I am excited to see and share your creations! Who’s in?
