I am on vacation this week (checking off a fun adventure from my Bucket List) so there is no “new” Mystery Stampin’ this week. However, you can play along with previous challenges. *See the showcase below!

What is Mystery Monday Stampin’?

If you are new to my blog, you may be wondering what is Mystery Monday Stampin’? First of all, it is super fun!!!! The best part is you USE WHAT YOU HAVE to create a handmade card! Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned stamper, this is a creative way to kick off your week with stamping fun. You do not need a specific stamp set or paper. You already have what you love, so use it! There is no right or wrong way to do mystery stampin’! If you want to change it up a bit, that’s fine (and even encouraged). I am always inspired when others Go Rogue! LOL

I love to create and share fun fold cards. When you follow my clues you will end up with a fun fold card layout you can use over and over. Plus, after the Mystery is solved I share the PDF with the clues so you can print it off to make the card again. (You can find previous cards below!)

How I Do Mystery Stampin’

I offer Mystery Stampin’ each week on my blog. I do it a little different so you have all the time you need to create. (I found trying to do live mystery stamping was not for me as I would often miss clues while I was still working on the previous clue and would end up frustrated. That is the last thing I want for you!) I’ve set this up to be a fun, stress free challenge! Here’s how it works…

On Sunday, I post the first clue (which is the list of supplies you need).
On Monday, I post the rest of the clues. You have all day (or longer if you choose) to follow the clues step by step and create a handmade card.
On Tuesday, I reveal the mystery card(s) I created along with the PDF.

I enjoy seeing what you create and ask that you take a picture of your card (this is optional of course!) and email it to me (j.stark@goeaston.net). I love to share the mystery cards others create on my Sunday Showcase blog post. It’s interesting to see all the different possibilities that everyone creates. It inspires me to come up with more creative possibilities!

I’m having fun with my new catalog goodies and I am ready to create a new card kit for you! My monthly card kits are intended to make it easy for you to be able to see and try out different products while being able to substitute stamps you already have. You don’t have to worry about having coordinating designer series paper to go with the cardstock, the right color ribbon to match, or other embellishments…everything is in the kit and shipped to you! You just need to stamp and adhere.

Here’s how you can reserve your kit:

Email me (j.stark@goeaston.net) with “Just Stampin’ Kit To Go” in the subject line. Make sure you include your mailing address! Then send payment through Venmo (@jstark324) or PayPal (j.stark@goeaston.net). *Note-If you use PayPal there is an added processing fee so please add $1.00 to your order. Did you play along with my Mystery Monday Stampin’? If you followed the clues you would have created a fun fold card similar to these.

This card is a classic Z fold card with the added twist of a card within a card.

I created one card using 12 x 12 DSP and a second version showcasing how to create it with 6 x 6 DSP. Here’s a closer look at each.

The 12 x 12 DSP is cut to 4 x 10 1/2 and scored at 5 1/4. I love this hidden card within a card which allows you to see both sides of the DSP.

I love this suite and had to have it all! You can purchase the entire suite or any of the products included in the suite and save 50% on your second item! I used every item included in the suite on today’s card. I fussy cut the drinks from the DSP. I even used the cut off glass from the corner of the paper on the inside of my card. I covered the drinks on the front with Fine-Tip glue to give it a shine like real glass.

For this card I used Basic Beige cardstock and adhered a 4 x 5 1/4 pice of DSP on top. I decorated the inside using the Sunrise Sailing Bundle and a sentiment from the Notes & Totes stamp set. I used a Blending Brush to create a water scene.
