Welcome back to my ABC with Fun Folds series. Today’s card is a Waterfall card…It’s raining Pigs! I absolutely love “This Little Piggy” stamp set and thought I would have some fun with them on today’s card. You will be amazed how easy this card is to create and whoever receives it (if you can part with it) will have tons of fun pulling the tab and seeing what comes next!
Here’s the details to make this fun waterfall card…
I started with a piece of 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 Flirty Flamingo for my card base. I adhered a piece of DSP that measures 4 x 5 1/4 piece to the base. The pull tab measures 2 x 8 1/2 and is scored at 1 3/4, 2 3/4, and 3 3/4. Fold the score lines facing you. Punch the long end with the Tag Topper Punch.
The images are stamped on 3 pieces of 1 3/4 x 2 pieces of Shimmery White using the Basic Black Archival Ink and colored using an Aqua Painter. These are layered on 2 x 2 1/4 pieces of Flirty Flamingo cardstock and adhered to the pull tab with sticky strip. Attach the sticky strip against the folded edge.
Adhere pull tab to a 1 x 4 1/4 strip with Tear & Tape. Attach Tear & Tape to the ends of the strip and center on the card front.
Fold a piece of 5″ ribbon through the tab for to pull the waterfall. These little piggies are so stinkin’ cute! I stamped the front of my envelope to match and used the same DSP on the flap. Fun and Done!
