Diamond Flap Fun Fold Cards with Charming Day & Poppin’ By…Free PDF

Did you play along with my Mystery Monday Stampin’? If you followed the clues you would have created a diamond flap fun fold card similar to these.

Creating these cards was so much fun! The diamond flap fun fold is quick & easy to create and I love the unexpected way the diamond flap moves. I really enjoyed playing with both of these bundles this week! Here’s a closer look at each of my cards.

Popcorn is the star of the show with the Poppin’ By Bundle! The coordinating stamps and dies create playful popcorn people, complete with tiny shoes and glasses. How cute is this?!

Popcorn and I have a history! Thanks to a popcorn “incident” in high school, I met one of my BFF’s! And trust me…it could have easily gone all wrong but, thanks to “the new girl” having a good sense of humor we became fast friends! Needless to say, anytime I see popcorn I think of my friend Paula! When I saw this stamp set I knew I had to have it! I absolutely love “punny” sentiments. What could be “butter” than that? LOL
Here’s a look at the inside of my card.

I love that this is an “anytime” card. It’s fun to send a card totally out of the blue for no reason at all except to let someone know you’re thinking of them. I enjoy sending cards like this hope it makes their day a little brighter.

Does the designer series paper I used on the front of my card remind you of anything? To me it looks like butter melting. What do you think?

My second card showcases some sweet florals.

The hardest part of this card was deciding which pattern to choose! I ordered this DSP during my demonstrator preorder and I can’t believe this is the first time I cut into it!

I embossed the envelope and the DSP on the inside of my card using the floral design from the Glass & Gardens Embossing Folders.

This is another “anytime” card you could send. The sentiment I used on the front is from Fancy Borders (Last Chance Product). *Make sure you check out this bundle! It has great border dies too!

Extraordinary Flora for Tic Tac Toe #273

I love to make fun fold cards and this one is quick & easy!

The inspiration for today’s card came from this week’s Tic Tac Toe Challenge board.

I chose elements across the top for my 3 in a row: Love, Free, Square.
I started with a square card base (4 1/4 x 8 1/2 scored at 4 1/4). I embossed a 4 1/4 strip of Basic White using the Garden Embossing Folder from the Celebratory Sips Suite. This embossing folder is so versatile! I fussy cut around the top and bottom and adhered it to my card base. Then I added the die cut circle and used my grid paper to line it up at 5 1/2 so it would fit in my envelope. Next came the fun part!

I love the new Extraordinary Flora Washi Tape from Stampin’ Up! It’s big, bright, and beautiful and features a gorgeous pattern of watercolor florals and botanical images. The design alternates from pink and purple variations of the same pattern for more versatility!

This stunning washi tape pairs perfectly with the coordinating Extraordinary Flora Stamp Set & Dies, making it easy to create show stopping cards and projects with bold botanical flair.

The die cuts out all the pieces at once! Woo Hoo!

*Tip: Cut Basic White cardstock 3 1/2 x 5 1/2. Unroll washi tape and adhere as you go using a credit/gift card to smooth it out. Perfect every time!

I placed the die cut pieces around the circle then stamped my sentiment before adhering the flora with Mini Glue Dots. The last step was embossing my envelope to coordinate!
