I had a wonderful vacation cruising to Bermuda with my sisters. No cooking, no cleaning, (no internet)…just the open sea, sunshine, shopping, sightseeing, snorkeling, spas, and all kinds of music and entertainment!
The three of us love the beach and I couldn’t wait to take them to Horseshoe Bay. With beautiful turquoise water and soft pink sand, it is one of my favorite beaches! (It has the softest sand I have ever stepped foot on!)
You can take a deep dive into the ocean with the Beauty of the Deep Stamp Set! This is a Distinktive stamp set; it has a special texture that gives added depth and dimension in a single step, creating photo-realistic images. With this stamp set, you can really see all the wonders of the ocean and create your own scene however you want.
I created a fun fold card using this stamp set and coordinating dies.
Here are the details:
Measurements:
Card Base (Summer Splash): 4 1⁄4 x 11 scored at 2 3⁄4 and 8 1⁄4
Cardstock Layer (Night of Navy): 2 3⁄4 x 4 1⁄4
Basic White: 1 1⁄2 x 2 1⁄2 , 1 x 2 1⁄4 , 1 1⁄4 x 2 1⁄4 , 4 x 5 1⁄4 (for inside)
Directions:
Fold & burnish card base.
Stamp card base with stamp from Beauty of the Deep using Summer Splash ink.
Stamp inside piece and envelope to coordinate.
Sponge 1 1⁄4 x 2 1⁄4 piece of Basic White using Blending Brush. *Start off the paper to prevent blotches.Stamp sentiment on 1 x 2 1⁄4 piece of Basic White.
Stamp anchor & fish with Night of Navy ink and cut out with Beauty of the Deep Dies. Color fish with Stampin’ Blends.
Adhere white layers to navy layer as shown.
Thread Baker’s Twine in anchor and loop to secure. Trim ends.
Adhere anchor and fish with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Adhere Navy Layer to card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals. *Just add Dimensionals along left side so card will open.
