It’s a New Year with a New Mini Catalog, New Online Exclusives, New Product of the Month, and… a New Kit to go from me!!

With so many new products to choose from my mind is racing with ideas that I can’t wait to share with you! I am currently working on a new Just Stampin’ Card Kit to go! My monthly card kits are intended to make it easy for you to be able to see and try out different products while being able to substitute stamps you already have. You don’t have to worry about having coordinating designer series paper to go with the cardstock, the right color ribbon to match, or other embellishments…everything is in the kit and shipped to you! You just need your own stamps, ink, adhesive, trimmer, and scoring tool. I include all die cut and punched images as well as envelopes and everything else you need to create beautiful cards (and an optional 3D project).

Then send payment through Venmo (@jstark324) or PayPal (j.stark@goeaston.net). *Note-If you use PayPal there is an added processing fee so please add $1.00 to your order. If you prefer you may send me a check. *Email me to let me know if you are sending a check so I reserve a kit for you. I sold out in the past so don’t wait to order!

Made With Love Pillar Cards with Side Panel

I’ve been getting a head start on my Valentine’s Day cards and this fun fold card design created by Sue Floyd was so much fun to make. Here’s a view from the top so you can see the diamond shape. Perfect for a valentine card!

This paper is perfect for handmade valentines, anniversary cards, and other expressions of love! Here’s a closer look at each of my cards.

I love to send cards to my friends throughout the year. I hope this valentine will put a smile on their face. I had fun creating the heart focal point using the dies, embossing folder, ribbon, and embellishments from the suite!

I used the new Three Banner Punch to punch the sentiment on my heart. You know how I love punches and this one from the Online Exclusives was a “must have”! You can purchase just the punch or get the awesome bundle and save 10%!!! The Banner Sayings Bundle makes it so easy to add fun stamped banners to your cards and scrapbook pages! It includes stamps with sentiments for nearly every occasion—congrats, thanks, thinking of you, and more—and a coordinating punch to cut them out quickly.
My second card uses the banner punch as well, I just changed up the DSP, cardstock, and added some different die cuts from the suite. I used the Flirty Flamingo twine from the 12 Days of Crafting Kit for the bow. (*This kit is still available and has great exclusive products!)

I went through my sentiment stamp sets and found many different ones to use. I stamped a bunch and will use several different ones. You can add one to the back of the card as well.

Mystery Monday Stampin’

Welcome back for the first Mystery Monday Stampin’ of the new year! I hope you are ready for a fun creative challenge! This week’s card is new to me! It is really simple and has that pop of WOW you get with a fun fold card! One of the wonderful things I love about mystery stamping is you use what you have! Are you ready to choose your creative adventure and solve this week’s mystery? Grab your supplies, follow the clues, and see what your finished card looks like at the end — it’s always a fun surprise!

Yesterday I shared your first clue. If you missed that post (with the list of supplies), Click HERE for Clue #1

Now that you have your cardstock, designer series paper, and other supplies, it’s time to create! Simply follow the clues step by step to create a beautiful card. Feel free to add your own twist…there is no right or wrong way to do Mystery Monday Stampin’! Here are the rest of the clues:

CLUE #2
Score the 4 1/4 x 11 cardstock @ 1 1/2, 3 1/2, 5 1/2, 7 1/2, 9 1/2 . Fold starting at one end: valley, mountain, mountain, mountain, valley. Burnish score lines with a bone folder.

CLUE #3
Fold card in half like a landscape card. Adhere the two 1 3/4 x 4 DSP panels to the scored sections on the left and center sections of the card.

CLUE #4
Stamp the 1 1/4 x 4 white/neutral cardstock panel with a sentiment of your choice. Then adhere to the section on the right side of the card.

CLUE #5
Glue the smaller/open ends on the right side together to create the fun fold. It will stand forming a diamond with a sentiment on the side pillar.

CLUE #6
Score the two 3/4 x 1 pieces at 1/2 and fold with a mountain fold. (These will create the brackets for your focal piece and will adhere to the right and left of the score line that is between the two DSP panels.) Adhere one bracket (folded in half, centered on the card, with the opening facing out) to the left of the score line. Repeat with the other bracket to the right side of the score line. *Do not go over the score line or your card will not fold properly.

CLUE #7
Create a focal piece for the front of the card. Stamp/Punch/Die Cut shape and/or image. Decorate/Layer/Embellish as desired.

CLUE #8
Attach the focal piece to brackets. *Apply Tear & Tape or multipurpose glue to the brackets to adhere the focal point.

CLUE #9
Adhere the other 1 1/4 x 4 white/neutral cardstock panel on the back of the card to add a message and/or sign your card.
Does your card need anything else? Embellishments? Trim/Ribbon? Add that now.

CLUE #10
Decorate your envelope (stamp/emboss/add DSP) to coordinate with your card.
*The card lays flat to fit into a A2 sized envelope.
