Welcome to my ABC Color Series! Stampin’ Up! offers so many great color choices! I love to combine different colors and patterns and hope to inspire you with some fun color combinations throughout this series. Today’s projects feature the 2023-2025 In Colors.
When I first saw the new In Colors I was not sure I liked them. Together they just looked kind of drab. However, once I started playing around with the individual colors, I could see how they look great with some of the other colors in the Stampin’ Up! collection. The Fresh As A Daisy Designer Series Paper is anything but drab and showcases some great colors that work together.

I paired the DSP with the Tailor Made Tags Dies to create some fun tags for the In Color Treat Bags. I love to make gifts for my team members and customers. This month I’m sending out these treat bags to my team and everyone who places an online order with me.
Let’s take a look at each of these color combinations.
Do you want to know what’s inside these treat bags? I’d love to send you one! Place a minimum $25 order (before tax & shipping) with me in September and I’ll send you one of these treat bags to celebrate World Card Making Day.

Welcome to my ABC Color Series! Stampin’ Up! offers so many great color choices! I love to combine different colors and patterns and hope to inspire you with some fun color combinations throughout this series. Today’s project features one of my daughter’s favorite colors, Highland Heather.
This card uses the Darling Details Bundle. (*Our coordinated craft bundles save you time and money! Buy the bundle and save 10% off the price of buying the stamp and dies separately.)
There are several stand alone dies in this set. The stamp set is perfect for birthdays, thank you cards, or those “just because” times. You know me, I love a versatile set! The darling doily designs plus the simple florals makes this the perfect stamp and die bundle for everyday occasions to use year-round! *You can even weave ribbon through the strip I used on the envelope if you want to add some fun texture.
I love embossing folders and used two different ones from the Basics 3D Embossing Folders (an online exclusive set of 3). I added dots to the envelope flap and used the crosshatch to emboss the background on the card front. The flowers (and large leaves) are stamped using a two-step stamp technique. I used Gorgeous Grape ink for the outline image and stamped inside the flowers with Highland Heather.
This card can be used for many different occasions. Add whatever sentiment you need on the inside.
I haven’t made this fun fold in awhile. It’s called a Z fold and it is a quick & easy fun fold!

Cardstock Layer (Highland Heather): 3″ x 4″

Welcome to my ABC Color Series! Stampin’ Up! offers so many great color choices! I love to combine different colors and patterns and hope to inspire you with some fun color combinations throughout this series. Today’s projects feature my favorite shade of green, Granny Apple Green. Take a look at how it compares with some other greens.
While I do like and use all of these shades of greens, one of my favorite color combinations is Granny Apple Green with Blueberry Bushel. I created two cards showcasing this color combination.
I rarely make just one card at a time as I like to try different products and techniques. The measurements are the same for both cards; however, I used different color card bases as well as different embossing folders. I also tried different techniques to color the leaves and flowers on these cards. Here are the details:
Measurements:
Card Base: 7 3/4″ x 5 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″
Designer Series Paper: 2″ x 5 1/2″
Cardstock layer: 3 3/4″ x 5 1/4″ embossed
Basic White: ~3 1/4″ x 4 1/2″ cut with Scalloped Contour Die
Basic White: scrap to stamp and punch flowers with Petal Park Builder Punch
Inside Cardstock layer: 3″ x 4″
Basic White inside: 2 3/4″ x 3 3/4″
DSP envelope: 2 x 6
Cardstock strip for envelope: 1/4 x 6
My first card starts with a Granny Apple Green card base. I used the Flowers 3D embossing folder from the Basic Pack (online exclusive) for the background. I stamped the outline of the leaves in Granny Apple Green then stamped off before stamping the inside. (*I tried stamping without stamping off it was just too dark for the look I wanted.) I stamped the flowers with Blueberry Bushel ink and rather than stamp the inside stamp I chose to color in with the Blender Pen to create the lighter color. It picks up the ink from the outline.
I use my Bone Folder to curl the flowers under then curl the ends up before adhering the flowers with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Here’s my second card:
This card starts with a Blueberry Bushel card base. The Granny Apple Green layer is embossed with the Elegant Eucalyptus 3D Embossing Folder. The leaves are stamped in Granny Apple Green then colored in with the Granny Apple Green Blends. The flowers are stamped in Blueberry Bushel like the first card only this time I used Wink of Stella to color in. It picks up the ink color and adds. little shimmer which I like. (It’s hard to see in the photos.) I also added sone White Classic Matte Dots in the center of the flowers.
Both of these cards feature the Petal Park Stamp Set, Petal Builder Punch, and Scalloped Contours Dies. The designer Series paper is a sneak peek at one of the new holiday paper packs that will be available starting tomorrow (Sept. 6th), Merry Bold & Bright 12×12 Designer Series Paper. I absolutely love the bright and bold patterns!
Merry Bold & Bright 12×12 Designer Series Paper Item #161945
There are so many fun color combinations you can choose with this paper pack. I love the stripe pattern I used on today’s cards. I chose to highlight Granny Apple Green with Blueberry Bushel and Lemon Lime Twist.
I love how the DSP you see on the front of the card is actually adhered on the inside. *The inside sentiment is from Good Feelings.
